I had noticed what appeared to be ash coming out of an outlet when I removed the plug from it. It had a ground fault interrupter outlet kind of backing. I stopped using the outlet. I tried to book the service online with American Home Shield but the online connection told me that my account was not active when, in fact, it was. I then called the home warranty and they sent out Ampac. Their tech replaced the outlet that was damaged and he gave me a little bit of information about what should be running that outlet, which was ... read more

Great service for a homeowner with an older home.
The icemaker and the water dispenser weren't working. The guys from Affordable Appliance Repair thought they figured out the first time and it was only a temporary fix. So the second time they came out, I had a better understanding of it, and they were able to fix it within 30 minutes. There was only one issue though. They were repairing during the coronavirus.
