They always came to my aid .I feel like I am well protected. The only problem I have is calling them on the phone . I always have one hour hold time. If I used the web site it immediate.
We had a previous warranty company before that I had a bad experience. We swapped over to AHS. My sister uses the company which is how we heard about them. The experience has been great. We've gotten our things resolved in a timely manner. I haven't had any issues with billing and I can get this stuff online. I had a leak and they had a plumber sent out. Submitting a claim with American Home Shield went like clockwork. I had a cracked drain pipe and the contractor took about 20 minutes to repair it. The guy wore a mask and put on those paper shoes on his feet. That was the first time I've used American Home Shield and I'm cool with it. I know people who have it and told me how it worked for them. That's what made me do it and I'm keeping it.
Provide reliable vendors that arrive on time and fix the problems.
I have been with American Home Shield for about 7 years. They completely had my washing machine rebuild, new tub new everything, six months later the door latch and could not be replaced. So they bought me a brand new washer! A couple of years ago late at night my H Vac system tarted to put out propane fumes on a very cold night. Excellent work and professionalism total.
I had weeds growing out of my unit. American Home Shield sent State Heating and Air. The tech was pretty good. He was really quick, too. He was here maybe 12 minutes. I have nothing but good experiences since I've had American Home Shield. Initially, I was looking at something about them in the mail. I had asked my aunt about it and she said she had it on a couple of her properties. She said it was pretty good. I then got a contract with Home Shield. I've gotten it for my father as well.
American Home Shield makes repairs so easy. I called them with an AC problem. That day, I received a phone call from an AC&R company close to my home to set up an appointment for the next day. They gave me a 4-hour window when they would come. The repairman showed up in the allotted time, found the problem quickly, and had it repaired within 30 minutes. After a small deductible, Home Shield took care of payment, all I had to do was sign the work order. I am very happy with American Home Shield and the service they provide.
