I\'ve always had good service from American Home Shield . The only issue I have had is trying to contact someone . I\'ve been on hold for over an hour more than once trying to get to talk to an agent. I understand their workforce has changed due to Covid-19 restrictions and I assume that\'s the reason for the difficulty in reaching a customer service agent. Hopefully , it will go back to the excellent customer service prior to Covid .
The compressor didn’t work on my AC for some reason. Submitting the claim with AHS was easy and usually, it takes 24 hours lead time to get a contractor out, which is reasonable, but I got lucky that day because I got a contractor on the same day, which was great. The techs fixed the issue and it took them half an hour to do it. They were very good. AHS was also very good and I'm happy with them so far.
Responded quickly with coverage and the agent was attentive. I appreciated her professionalism and courtesy.
I like the response time of getting a service set up and the quality of the contractors
The contractor came out 3 different times and we've had the same guy, Chauncey, every time. They've been very responsive. I have a tenant living there that’s fighting cancer and he really needed the AC working. Chauncey was able to juggle things around, get out there and get it fixed. He found the problem immediately. My air conditioner was shutting off. It was running all the time and it was leaking water. American Home Shield had a pretty easy claims process and I didn't have any issues. Altus Air Conditioning came out and they fixed everything the first time. My AC is running better now. Everything was just fine for me.
We figured out that the AC wasn't working at four o'clock in the morning. A-US Air Conditioning called me by that afternoon, and then the guy was there the next day and he fixed it on the first visit. We have used them before in the past, and if it’s a part that they don't have with them, they usually have to order it and it takes a little while. Reaction time exceeds expectations. Very happy with overall value
If an issue comes up they are fast with turn around time. They also keep you posted on events that are happening with the the parts
