The tech from Element came on time on Saturday, but he didn't have the Freon for the unit. So he said that he was going to return on Monday. Then he was checking and he went to the attic and found something else. He said that he was going to come today in the morning but he didn't show up. So I called him and he said that he's going to come on Wednesday. I'm not too happy. He was very polite, but he didn't have any Freon or the computer. We had two service calls in a year and both contractors were great.
My wife called American Home Shield and then a contractor came out. Our air conditioner wasn’t blowing out cold air and the issue was something to do with the starter solenoid that controls the fan. It only took the man a couple minutes to fix it and everything seems to be working good right now. Hopefully, it stays that way.
My sink wouldn't drain. We didn't know if it was the garbage disposal or a clog. The contractor from Blue Collar Plumbing communicated with me the next day. He was courteous, did the work and answered a couple questions that I had. It was pretty much done in like 20 minutes. The repair made everything be back to normal. It was really inconvenient to have a sink clogged up all the time. Being a part of American Home Shield is really convenient. I'm glad that I can have contractors that come out to my rural area. American home shield has always been professional and prompt. Great customer service
I've been with AHS since March. I switched from somebody else. AHS appears to cover a little bit more and the rate was a little bit less. However, I can't email, text or chat with them. I have to call somebody. It’s like, if I have a question about my contract that isn't rushed, I have to call them and sit on hold for a while.
