I called American Home Shield to get more information on the services they offered. The woman I spoke with was very helpful, personable, and answered my questions without hesitation. I liked that they offered different tiers of service/coverage that worked for my budget and needs, and that their customer support actually cared and were helpful without making me feel pressured.

During the coldest part of winter so far my heat went out on a Sunday, also on the week of Christmas. I sent in a service request and they said someone would contact me the next day. A company came out the next day and they said they didn't work on my type of furnace (modular home?). So on Tuesday another company came out and reported to me they had to order the part. I appreciate the service. They have been great. The only drawback, and it's minor - is that it can be difficult difficult to understand the agents from time to time.

I have had AHS for 25 years. In all those years when I call for a service request AHS has provided me with a quality service company. They keep a list of companies that respond quickly and professionally . I believe in all those calls I only had one incident where I had an issue with the service company and it was minor.
