Hutch's Plumbing replaced the outside faucet that was leaking. They tried to just replace the knob stuff and it wouldn't come out, so they had to replace the whole thing, which meant they had to go under the house. So they did a really good job. They also came out quickly after I submitted the claim. All in all, my experience with American Home Shield was great. They're also better than that last provider we had because with AHS, we have a plumber. We didn't with the other one because the one they had was four hours away.
I've had one or two claims with American Home Shield and it has all has been good. Liberty Plumbing came for a service call and that was a very quick fix. The issue turned out to be the fuses that were wrong in the fuse box. The tech was good. It's been a good experience so far with AHS.
We had a plumbing issue where the pipe just burst and it splashed the walls. I made a service order on a Saturday morning and All Hours Emergency did a phenomenal job. Alex didn't show up 'til Monday, but when he came out, he did a good job of securing the issue. He noticed what parts needed to be purchased, went to Home Depot and came back. He was courteous and he went above and beyond. Now, everything is working fine.
I recently had two different service calls. One was for my dryer and the other was for my AC. I was kind of nervous with both wondering if the techs being sent would be experienced and able to repair the items with one call. I was pleasantly surprised because both were very knowledgeable and knew exactly what was needed to be done. My A/C had gone out on Tuesday evening and I put an online request that night. American Home Shield sent Rick's Appliance for the refrigerator. It would drip water to the bottom of the freezer and then ice would form, and when it would start melting, it would drip outside the refrigerator. I called AHS to submit a claim for it and the rep I dealt with was helpful. He said that I would be contacted within 24 hours by the contractor. It didn't take that long for them to call me. It was good service. I'm very satisfied with AHS. Up to now, we've had no issues. They usually get everything resolved soon.
The refrigerator claim went through very smoothly. I did it through the phone. I'm not that tech-savvy with the computer. However, that was the first one that I had to wait a while for the contractor to respond. But I'm quite pleased with their work.
Technician was outstanding in every regard. He was on time, professional, knowledgeable and tidy.
One of my friends told me about Home Shield when I first purchased. I like that I have somebody that I can call and get the referral to what I need to get done. So, my husband just makes the calls. Home Shield sent someone out promptly based upon our availability. It's just like having insurance. When we had a non-functioning garage door, Garages R Us came out, and now, it's working. I'm keeping Home Shield. They're doing their job. It's serving its purpose.
The guy who came for my air conditioner recently was wonderful. He was excellent and very professional. I felt so bad for him though. He was up in the attic, came home, his shirt was totally wet and soaked. But, he fixed my air conditioner. It was very good. However, when I was up in that bedroom the other day and the panel that he removed has all his dirty fingerprints on it. He probably didn't even realize that. But it's no big deal.
