I needed them and they responded rapidly
American Home Shield sent Drywall Masters to close up a drywall hole in the house. They were fine. The service guy was friendly and quick, and he did a good job.
A doorbell and a smoke detector had gone bad so the technician replaced both. He had everything on the truck and the service was quick and easy. I had American Home Shield once before but I bought it for protection when I bought this house. It's a valuable plan and it has served my purpose so that's good.
On time good and clean work , smart and quick
I had a plumbing problem and requested an appt online at 8:30 pm. I quickly got a reply via email of who was assigned to the job and the next morning got a call letting me know the plumber would be at my house in 2 days. The service was great an the problem fixed that day.
Ease of use and coverage. No problem contacting the company
I turned the spigot on, and water was spitting out all over the place. I called American Home Shield and I talked with a live person. I had to wait 50 minutes before they answered, then the rep finally came on and we talked. She took my money and put the claim in for me. She sent out the plumber and in the meantime, I couldn't wash any dishes and we had to use all alternatives until the unit was repaired. When the plumber came, he located the leak. I called the service on a Saturday morning, and we wasted time because a lot of the contractors didn't work on the weekends. It was kind of an emergency because my whole house was affected. The contractor talked to me and discussed the situation. This was after American Home Shield was very helpful in helping me get past that. We did waste a lot of time from 10:00 to 4:00 not knowing if a contractor would even do anything on a Saturday, and then this man did. So, it was a very good experience. He was excellent, too.
