We heard about home warranties but we never thought much about it. Then we got our dryer repaired for 300 and some odd dollars. My daughter in law said they have been with Home Shield for years and that they would do anything for 75. They have the plan where they pay a little more monthly and they pay $75 for a call. Right Tech Heating & Air came out to fix the air conditioner. They did a great job. It took only a couple of days for them to come after I submitted the claim online to American Home Shield.

There was a time when I had two toilets running constantly because the flappers weren't good. I went online and easily requested service from American Home Shield. Their contractor, Prime Plumbing, called within the day to set a schedule. When the techs got to my location, they were very efficient and got my problem fixed. I was very happy with the service I got from them. I also had two separate HVAC issues at the end of summer and AHS sent out two different technicians. Still, both did a good job and fixed me right up.
