I was so skeptical about buying a home warranty but after talking with them- and asking tons of questions - I purchased a plan. We have not been let done for 1 second! We had some outlets that were not working one time and my wife submitted a claim to American Home Shield for us. It was all pretty easy for her and Rite Way Electric, one of AHS's contractors called me. They scheduled an appointment in a decent amount of time. Their techs came and took care of the problem in one visit.
Everything was fine when Lane Services came out. He fixed the AC. He was fine. He explained everything and told us how to prevent it in the near future. He did it in less than 30 minutes. The service of AHS has been great too.
They honor the terms of the warranty and provide prompt, professional service through their contractors.
I ordered plumbing services because both of our sinks weren’t working. I went to the website and it was pretty easy. It said to expect the contractor between 1:00 and 5:00 PM, and when they came, they did a great job. The tech was courteous and explained everything. Everything’s working fine.

Our air conditioner was broken and I submitted a claim for it through a phone call.
