They've been responsible to the program offered to me so far.
I would highly recommend American Home Shield. I used them years ago when I had my other house and I've been pleased with their service. When I bought this house, I knew I needed some type of warranty. They were the first ones that I thought about and I was glad that they were still in business. My service charges have gone up from $45 to $100, but that’s just so many years ago since I've used them. My last claim was for my smoke detectors. I have tall ceilings and they needed to be replaced since they kept beeping.

coverage and service are excellent!! they respond quickly, send someone out, and replace broken parts. the preventative services are not very good, but if something breaks they will fix it.
AHS's online portal was very user friendly. It only took me five minutes to submit my claim. The contractor called within eight hours and said that he'd be out the next morning. The blower motor stopped working and he found that it had locked up. He had expedited the part and we were without a blower motor for about four days.He had also looked over the rest of the unit and said that the outside unit and the inside unit don’t match. Very responsive. Got my issues resolved quickly
Such a stressful few weeks. Both a broken pipe and my dryer died. After a couple of calls American Home Shield had someone scheduled to come out and get everything resolved. Even during a pandemic I was able to get my issues resolved quickly and efficiently.
