My furnace made an insane noise then had no heat and I had only been in my home two weeks. I scheduled a service and they were able to get a technician in that day and they had the part and replaced it. It was covered under my warranty and was just a smooth and easy process. I feel blessed!

Quick turnaround. I put the work order in early Sunday morning. The technician was at my house Monday mid-morning. Had my problem resolved in about an hour.
I'm generally pleased with American home shield, and that's why I've stayed with them for years. But in this most recent incident, I found their service lacking. I've been waiting over 2 weeks for them to send out a contractor to do the drywall repairs for the plumbing work that was on the initial trouble ticket. I've had to call them over five times, and now I have to resort to going to social media to get their attention. My garbage disposal was leaking and I called AHS to schedule a repair/replacement. They were very fast to allocate plumbing company in minutes and followed up next day to schedule an appointment. I strongly recommend to take AHS as it with save lot of money on the appliances.

I filed my first claim online because my water stopped getting hot on Easter Sunday. The steps for filing, payment and having the tech. repair my hot water heater all flowed seamlessly. I am very pleased with the service.
