I am have been the loyal customer for American Home Shield since 2000. I am very happy AHS's service, The only bad experienced was in summer of 2016, American Home Shield has sent a very poor service company 6 times within 4 months trying to fixed my air conditioning. Finally due to my insistence for another service provider, they finally sent another company which properly diagnosed the problem and fixed my air conditioning in 2 visits. In January 2018 the secondary heat exchanger cracked in my furnace, American Home Shield replaced my furnace and they replaced it within two days. This is an excellent home warranty because whatever appliances break American Home Shield will fix it all you have to pay is the $75 service fee. I joined October of 2017 and my stove ignitor went out in November of 2017 and again all I paid was the $75 service fee and American Home Shield sent technicians from their own service companies both times to fix my stove and replaced my... read more
When things go wrong with your house knowing that you have American Here me Shield takes the stress out of it.
On a plane. Daughter calls. There’s a leak coming from the ceiling. Called AHS. Problem fixed. Same day. The technician they sent (Miguel from SWG) was just amazing! The best!
I've been with AHS for 8 years now. When it comes to simple repairs they deserve a 5 star rating. Pay your $75 deductible and be done with it. It wasn't until one of my items needed replacing that the song and dance routine started. Horrible hold times to speak with someone, to be told that at first my item was not being replaced because of chemical damage then when I got a second opinion they said the gas line value wasn't big enough but no chemical damage. Service companys are very professional, and timely works with you on appt. Times. AHS DOES A GREAT JOB OF Communicating with you doing the entire process.
I’ve been a member since purchasing my home in 2004. When I place service calls customer reps are always courteous and professional! No matter what time I place a service call the technicians are here within 24hrs! The technicians that have come to my home are professional and always answers my questions.
