I could almost give a 5 because they did cover the entire cost (minus $100 deductible). However, the 1st contractor they assigned had absolutely horrible reviews online (the reviews were recent and local and using AHS).

I didn't have to do anything. Reported my problem, American Home Shield contacted the repair company, they set up the appointment and the remairman showed up and fixed the problem.

The company they use in my area. It's always Discount Contractors and they don't do a good job half the time.

I have had some repairs done quickly for fair cost but others that took over a month to repair, repair was bad as well as a repair where I was ripped off paying over $300 out of pocket for a simple doorbell repair.
I think what ever appliances you gave you should send that tech that is trained for that particular brand.
