I placed a called on July 18th for my air conditioner. I live in San Antonio, TX so it's hot. The technician said 2 - 5 days for the part and that he had ordered the part. I check status today with AHS, and was told that they ordered the part YESTERDAY, 7/23. They claim they are waiting on the vendor to give them a receipt date. But they didn't order the part until 5 days after I placed the call in the first place! Stay Away....was a paying customer for 2 years called for service 3 times in 2 years. first 2 calls tech could not repair (still had to pay 100.00 each) 3rd call took almost 3 months to replace dishwasher. Finally cancelled service was told I had to pay a 61.00 cancellation fee? WHAT A RIP OFF stay away.....

4 months without a working stove, multiple repair attempts without resolution. Missing parts delayed repair four times. Company non responsive just state I can see this is bothersome that you do not have a working stove.

I don’t know where to begin. The lack of vendors for my area, the deceptive practices, poor customer-service, and the repeated phone calls. It was more then I had the time to deal with. Rex T, CEO and Pirasenna T, CTO of this company should be more proactive in ensuring a better customer experience!

I pay monthly fees and when I needed service to my air conditioning I had to pay $100 service fee to American Home Shield. Then when the AC technician showed up I found out that American Home Shield only covers $10 for Freon. I ended up paying $437 to get Freon in my AC. I could have got it cheaper without American Home shield. The problem was still not fixed but I have to use a company that American Home Shield sends. I am not happy with American Home Shield. It’s a waste of money.

Paid my $100.00 deductible to have my refridgerator checked out for loud noices and occasional freeze up ice maker

Based on my one year experience with this company, I think their business model is a scam! I have a dryer that was not working properly, and I called the AHS, I paid $100 for their first visit and the technician came and refusing do anything by claiming the problem is due to clogged exhaust. Then I hired a pipe cleaning company to clean the exhaust but the dryer was still not working. I paid another $100 to have a technician came and he refused do anything again by claiming that the problem was caused by lack of maintenance.... read more

Extremely disappointed. It took you 4 weeks and 3 different contractors to change out my evaporator coil in one of my A/C units. Completely unacceptable. Also on a previous call on my other contract with you on my rental home, it took you 3 weeks to get a contractor there to repair that water leak. Thus I incurred more damage of which you took no responsibility. Y'all are the worst and I am now in the market for a new Home WarrantyCompany

The longer you have the policy; the worse the service is. I am having AC issues and they have supported a vendor that is trying to screw me by charging me for a bunch of non covered items that the second opinion said that I did not need. So, I paid the service fee twice as the BIG issue is the same.
