I love the service. I think the service providers should be checked out, as it hit or miss. I do appreciate that there are new services offered this year: roofing for example.

American Home Shield responded quickly and made sure that our issue was resolved promptly. The process was easy and they communicated each step of the way. They had multiple contractors in my area that they work with. I’m so thankful we have this warranty!

It has been a mixed bag. I have had 3 service requests through them. The first one was an absolute nightmare that took months for them to reject it in the end without fixing the problem or replacing the unit. They sent out 4 different contractor. They kept sending new ones until they got the answer they wanted so they could close the case without needing to repair or replace my fridge. I have had to use AHS 3 times in the last year. All three times the workers were excellent. they were on time, polite and gave me the time I needed to ask my questions.

We had a furnace stop working in the middle of a below freezing night. First thing in the morning, I called American Home Shield requested service. By late morning we had the issue resolved and a running furnace and heat with little out-of-pocket expense to us!
