Purchased new patio furniture and paid in full with a delivery date two weeks later. Purchased a pool from American Sale 5/23/2020 after seeing the owner being interviewed on the news. The same day we bought the pool I decided to upgrade the pool to larger size. Called sales rep and they made the change. I was suppose to get a receipt of the increased size by email, this never happened . Bought pool on 5/15 and took delivery a couple of days later with the understanding of install to be 3 weeks after. I understand the covid effect of things may take longer, but if a sales person is lying to customers on installs this is unethical to make a sale and convince people to take delivery right away when they had no intension to install right away. I bought an above ground pool and paid over $5000 on May 7th, the day they reopened after COVID19 shut down, and was told Installation would take place about 3 week later, to wait for the installer to call to set up an installation appointment. I couldn’t be more disappointed with my experience. I originally ordered a 34x18 pool. On April 28. I was told it was on back order and wouldn’t be in until May 18. I was ok with that so I set the install up for May 28. I stared calling the week of May 18 to find out when it could be delivered. I called three times. In regards to the pool not being measured right, we often see that deck modifications need to be made to accommodate the pools. Very upset, I ordered online a brand new 12x12 intex pool cover and they sold me a discolored and dirty 12x12 intex pool cover and at the website they dont have anything that let me return it. Do not recommend this store. I will need someone to contact me and let me know how I can return it. I have all pictures if someone want to see it.

Disappointed so far! I arranged financing,ordered my pool, and set a delivery date. I called the store the day before delivery to see if we were on schedule so I could arrange the day off. A store associate said yes and later that day i received a confirmation email telling me i had a delivery window of 1:30-4:30. Make sure your home and dogs are put away. Really disappointed with the service we had in the Merrillville store. We went in ready to spend 4k on a pool. Not only could they not make that happen the sales lady seemed frustrated with dealing with us. With out nit picking I'll add that I didn't appreciate that I thanked her for her help and was leaving but stopped by the restroom first. Still haven’t got a call back. Spent considerable time on the phone setting up hot tub service call. A week later I went into the lake Zurich store live, thought that would work better?? NOT Lovely girl took my info and put the service call into the system. That was weeks ago. Don’t really know what to do now / next.
