I have never had so much trouble spending $10k in my life. Went shopping for a hot tub in Feb., found one and told the salesman Don K. that I had to get electric run and pad put down before I could order. Once this was done, Covid hit. Purchased a pool in the beginning of May. It was delivered a few days later. After being told it would be installed in 3 to 4 weeks, was informed it wouldn't be installed until the 1st week of July. After getting an install date, I go to my village to get a permit and find out that the installer is not bonded or insured with my town. I contacted both American sale and the installer to tell them and apparently they applied for a permit in the wrong town. American Sale should really have a much lower rating than "A" since many of the reviews are indicating that they have not been happy with their experience. I purchased a Hot Springs hot tub which was installed on June 7th. Within 5 days the spa remote did not work after spending $15,000 for a quality spa. Got a new spa remote and now 6 weeks later the spa remote is not working. Now being told by their Service Dept. that it is usually a 3 week wait for service. Wish I would have read the reviews here about American Sales first. Bought our pool in May with an expected installation at the end of June it is now the end of July and still not installed. Cassie the salesperson person can’t even take the time to return phone calls finally spoke to the manager who is just as rude as the salesperson. Can only use COVID-19 for an excuse for so long Customer Service is ridiculous. American Sale bit off more than they can chew. We purchased a pool package in May 2020 and was told that install would be 3 weeks out. After the delivery of the pool which was 2 weeks from purchase, it was delivered without the filter. After waiting 3 weeks and numerous phone calls and emails we were told the filter was on the truck but not inspected. Zero customer service. I know your "busy." Congratulations on a business that is thriving during these uncertain times. Perhaps you should take in to account your customers who are spending their hard earned money at your store? I purchased our pool on April 26, 2020, Tom was our sales person.
