Buyer beware if buying a play set from naperville. I bought a play set in April 2017 and had constant issues that took me complaining for 5 months before getting parts to replace. One replaced the floor panels popped up and daughter foot got caught between panel and wood. Luckily i was close to catch her cause she feel backwards with her foot caught between the panel. I call and no one care and ask for picture. Ask to have a manager come to see this and say a repair worker will come out. Just seems no one cares at all.

I would give 0 if I could. Came in to buy a new grill and was greeted promptly, and told if I had any questions to ask, but ask who? The associate ran off before I could say a word. Waited over by the grills for 40 plus minutes and received great customer service from another customer who answered the questions. Finally after asking does anyone want to sell me a grill, Ed the associate came back. Ended up purchasing the grill, only because of the financing. We were looking around the store for a good 30 minutes without being greeted or asked if we needed any help. Waited at the checkout for 5 minutes while the young cashier was rubbing the managers head at his desk. Finally noticed us waiting and came over to check us out. No apology for the wait or anything. Won't be visiting this store again.

Bought a hot tub. Tub was defective from day one. Egotistical service people tried to fix several times. Tried blaming poor installation and everything else. Ended up buying replacement tub somewhere else and it worked perfectly.
We recently purchased Christmas decorations on line from American Sale in Sept. 2015. I went to install the decorations Dec.14, 2015 and they came out of the box falling apart and are the worst quality I've ever seen. I called the company to return them and was told that they have a 15 day return policy. Now I am not in the habit of putting up my Christmas decorations in Sept. So now I have $213.77 in junk lights that I'll never use and I'll NEVER call on American Sale again.
Avoid American Sales in Naperville at all costs - their customer service is the worst and heaven forbid you have a return over 30 days old. Only store credits are issued even on items that are defective. The store was empty today when everywhere else I shopped were packed?? Their poor customer service has a lot to do with that !!!! This is not the first problem I have had with their poor customer service policies and we mistakenly made another purchase and were disappointed again?? Never again !!! Beware!!
American Sale has an interesting business model one should be aware of prior to purchasing anything that you are setting up for delivery. I learned of this model in the last week when I was informed they could not deliver something I paid for because they sold it out of stock. Manager Bryan is both inflexible and doesn't trust the customer at the expense of his own "knowledge." I bought a $2000+ Weber grill that should have included two Weber grill lights. Took the grill home and thought I would return to get the lights that were obviously left off the grill. Bryan was adamant that they weren't originally included and wouldn't consider the fact that he might be wrong. Well, Weber themselves have corrected his mistake.
