My wife and I have purchased an entry level and luxury patio set from American Sale. Both sets are of great quality and still look like new. We keep going back to American Sale because of their pricing, quality products, selection and very knowledgeable sales staff. Ask for Alexis in patios!!

We've had our pool for exactly one year and there has been a problem since day one of install! Customer service was not responsive and the installers rushed and did not do quality work. This year customer service is more responsive but won't take responsibility for bad work done by contractors or technicians. If you are getting a new pool, look into a different company. Update - I have contacted you're pool service line and haven't been helped to my satisfaction. I've called the store who says that it's not their problem. ... read more

My husband and I purchased Castlerock outdoor furniture 7 years ago from the American Sale store in Naperville, Illinois. The furniture, on sale, was $5,000. We were hesitant to spend this much money on outdoor furniture and the Sales associate, Kelly Thomas, told us there was a lifetime warranty on the set so we purchased the furniture. After looking into this matter further, we see that our Customer Service department has contacted you to resolve this issue. We have never offered a lifetime warranty on our any of our patio furniture. However there was a 5 year warranty on the patio furniture you purchased, and unfortunately since the chair was delivered in 2014, the last year of warranty coverage would have been 2019. I've been buying Christmas tree lights here for a few years and I've never had a problem until this year. They switched to Sylvania lights and to make a long story short, probably every other strand was bad, but they didn't go out until I had all of the lights on the tree, so I threw them out, went to American Sale and bought more, only to have even more problems with them. The store itself is fine but their service department is terrible. We bought a $10,000 spa from them 3 years ago. It is still under warranty but needs service desperately. First attempt to get a service call, we left a message on their answering machine - no reply. 2nd and 3rd attempt no response. Today they finally responded and the best they can do is 10 days from now. Very disappointed.

Bought an above ground pool at the end of last year and while the buying experience was fine the pool has been a disaster. 2 rips in the liner already this year which I had to replace. The valve on the pool pump already broke so I have to use pliers to turn the valve on/off and this morning the pool pump sprung a leak. ALL of this after literally 2 months of use last year. I'm $600 into repairs already and I'm sure the leaky pump will add to that. PLEASE buy your pool somewhere else. This has been a nightmare. My yard is a p... read more

Okay so I went in here to learn more about your pool options. But I was appalled at what I walked into... to say the least. The female "manager" on duty was talking to other guests and neither her nor the other guests had masks on. Sorry but seriously?? No masks?? In a pandemic. Please resolve. Only reason for 2 stars instead of 1 is because your sales staff was informative.

I love that Lance was being great at customer service....NOT! He never followed up with us until we were last minute. Real customer service would be calling at least every week with updates. He did not! Real customer service (not Lance's fault) would be covering the difference of the installers and following up all through the process! A real, solid company gets the job done! End of May we bought a pool from them as they promised it would get delivered next week and installed end of June. The pool did not get delivered twice and we didn't receive a call from anyone letting us know about the cancellation. I had to call each time and each time every person I talked to was completely clueless and had no answer for me.
