Ordered a new cover for my hot tub on June 14th. I was originally told 4-6 weeks, thought ok reasonable. Six weeks goes by, not a word, call them, they tell me another two weeks, uh, ok, I guess. Two more weeks go by, call them, it is now on back order and another 4 weeks. Another 4 weeks pass, and told its still on back order may be another 2-4 weeks. Now they say they may have a "loaner" cover they could lend me until mine comes in. Get "loaner" cover, which fits fine, and ask why i can not just have that one.They tell... read more

Gail Jezik My experience at this store was awful. I Bought a pool from a sales lady Jessica she was really nice. My problem started with the installer whom I couldn't get in touch with my calls were ignored. I got in touch with Jessica and also the manager about the pool being installed. Jessica mentioned maybe she could try to get another installer ( I did not ask for another one it was offered) so I called the next day to find out if they got one Jessica was off so I asked to talk to the manager who refused to talk to me ... read more

Three trips for an O-Ring to a pump and filter system that they sold me. No one can figure out the correct pump. Nor the correct O-Ring. Better off going to Home Depot or Ace for parts.

We spent $6500 on a patio set to include: A fireplace table with glass Two rocking chairs Once couch One umbrella As well as the full coverage warranty the sales manager told us would cover “cushions getting ruined to due tears or baby vomit, it covers anything that can happen to the furniture” First we waited a month just to have the wrong table delivered - we received a round table instead of the rectangular one worth much more. Do not use them! Delivery folks are terrible. Customer service doesn't care, and they don't have technicians available when needed. Their “white glove” delivery of my $11k hot tub included 4 guys dropping it off the trailer, at least 4ft high and looking around to see if anyone saw, continuing to set it up and didn’t even check to see if anything happened. They were just in a rush to get it done and get out of there! I go to wipe it down and I find broken pieces!? C’mon! Then I gotta war dial your customer service # over... read more

Andre was very helpful with the pool purchase and follow-up. However, the company they contract with to install pools is terrible. I would think twice about purchasing a pool from American Sale if they have Midwest pools install your pool. I spent 7k to have a leaning, unlevel pool in my yard. The pool was hand dug on the hottest day of the year instead of having a bobcat level the area. They cut corners in order to finish the job quickly and it shows. Not for the day after Christmas sale. It used to open at 8am and was much less crowded. Now it opens at 10am and it’s a freaking zoo. 16 people rushed the door as it opened and there was a mad rush to the back of the store. Only saw 2 employees in the back to help with questions and the 2 girls at the registers didn’t know what they were doing. We bought 2 display models and were supposed to get an extra discount. Didn’t realize we just got the regular sale price until we got home.

Purchased a pool back in June. Difficult coordinating delivery, they did accommodate. Poom installers are trying to push to dig and install BEOFRE the date when we have told them we didn't have everything lined up yet. They wanted to come dig without the dumpster here! This has been a less than pleasant process, and for what we spent- you'd think everyone would listen a little more, and be a little more accommodating.

Per our pool agreement, you will need to secure your permit from your village prior to install as well as call JULIE to come out and mark the yard. Dirt haul away is not included in the installation.
