If zero stars was an option they definitely would get that. This company is a joke. They are a scam. After reading multiple peoples issues and speaking to multiple employees I am disgusted. Shame on this company. It is a JOKE. 20k in repairs and the reimbursement from this company $560.20. Yes you read that right.

Business response:

Hello ***,Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience; I can understand your frustration with the claim determination. The warranty is in place to assist with the cost of repairing or replacing specific items that fail from normal wear and tear; not all items are covered and may not be covered 100%. The brochure states that units beyond manufacturer's life expectancy are at the sole discretion of the company. Upon review of your claim, I am pleased to see that we were able to assist with offsetting the out... read more

Be careful with this company, I was given the impression that everything in my home (appliances, furnace, ac, etc.) would be covered. You will be paying over 50% for anything and will most likely deal with annoyed representatives that dont do anything to help you out. Not worth it.

Business response:

Hello ******,Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. For clarity and transparency, the warranty brochure states that it covers items that fail from normal wear and tear; It does not cover everything. It may not cover the entire cost of repair or replacement of a covered item.Upon review of your claim, I see that the contractor quoted $500.54 for the repair of your humidifier, I am pleased to see that we were able to approve over half of the repair cost for a total of $395 minus the required deductible.... read more

I cannot, in good conscience, recommend this company. We had our first claim about two months after renewing(we purchased the warranty in 2021 when we bought our current home). The hot water heater, which was checked and fully functional during our paid home inspection, was found to have a gas leak in the combustion chamber in early January 2023. We obtained a estimate, and had the technician speak to a representative from **** on the phone while he was here, as required. The estimate to replace the hot water heater was $198... read more

Useless insurance. My dishwasher needed repair. The repairman said the part it needed was no longer available. So I expected partial coverage to buy a new one. Wrong! They said it was a part they didn't cover so they couldn't contribute to a new. So here we have an old appliance that is supposedly covered by the insurance. So no repair and no new one. Plus I had to pay for the estimate of $109 which they wouldn't reimburse. Seriously, what's wrong with this picture? Fraud comes to mind. Good luck!

Business response:

Hello ******, Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience; I can understand your frustration with the claim determination. The warranty is in place to assist with specific items that fail from normal wear and tear, not all items are covered. As stated in the contract, if no covered defects are discovered or repaired during a service call, the homeowner is responsible for the cost of the service call. I see that the contractor stated the control panel for the dishwasher had failed, which is not a covered pa... read more

This warranty company is a rip off I had a AC unit go out they said because it was old that they would only cover $175 of a $15,000 unit absolutely ridiculous because it lasted long. They penalize you for that never use this company.

Business response:

Hello ***,Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. The warranty is in place to assist with the cost of repairing or replacing specific items that fail from normal wear and tear; not all items are covered, and it may not cover the entire cost. Upon investigation of your claim, I am pleased to see that we were able to approve more than the mentioned amount in your review, but you have since decided to cancel your warranty. Although we are sad to lose you as a customer, your contract has been canceled and ... read more

poor customer services was charged twice for the deductible,i didn't want this crappy warranty, there are better companies out there ,im trying to cancel the poor service, and it takes 8-9 weeks to cancel, that tells you more on how poor this company is.STAY AWAY from them.I don't want to rate them because that's how poor they are.I will blast this information everywhere this company advertises

Business response:

Hello *******,Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. The warranty is in place to assist with the cost of repairing or replacing specific items that have failed due to normal wear and tear, minus the required deductible on all approved claims; not all items are covered, and approved repairs and replacements may not be covered 100%.Upon investigation, I see that you have opened a few claims with us. For one claim, we never received a contractor diagnosis, which is a required step in the claims process.... read more

It is clear by there and efficient processing and communication system. Their goal is to not pay out a single claim. 23 emails and 10 phone calls later after repeatedly sending them the invoice they requested and sitting on hold for seven hours plus I finally was able to complete one claim with them that amount it for the total of $264.89.They are scam artist and capitalize on new home owners who have spent their entire saving to purchase a home and think this is a solid safety net should anything go wrong in their home and ... read more

Hello *****,Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience. The warranty is in place to assist with the cost of repairing or replacing specific items that fail from normal wear and tear; as not all items are covered, our 3-step claims process requires that we be contacted while the contractor is on-site in order to determine if the failed item(s) fall under the contract coverage. Upon review of the plumbing claim, I see that the customer service rep explained this, and that we were not contacted with the cont... read more

First, check all the recent reveiws. I am one of MANY......I've been paying **** around $50 a month for three years now. I have had to file two claims during that time. The most recent on our boiler system that has failed. I can promise you....this company will blow your mind with how little they actually offer you on a claim. "Up to" is the very important part of their advertising. A $10K boiler replacement will net you $375 in assistance from your trusted home warranty company. My time working with this company over the ye... read more

They say don't worry for break down but will leave you stranded with simple reply "Your Claim cannot be approved". I live in ********. My furnace broke just about when winter was starting. Their response was they can't approve my claim. I ended my replacing my furnace paying all by myself. I wish there was possibility to give 0 rating. Please don't opt for ****. They will be quick in prompt replacement for small devices which costs lesser than your annual premium. Please do not rely on them for big equipments like furnace or... read more
