This company has to be the worst supplier out there. Not only do you get a foreigner to talk to, they cannot even take the money out when it is due. Just recently we switched to a different supplier due to it being cheaper. Amerigas charged us almost $400 to pick up THEIR tank. Buyer beware of this horrible company.

DO NOT USE AMERIGAS...TERRIBLE UNETHICAL COMPANY - THEY CAUSED A LEAK, CAME TO FIX IT, BUT TRYING TO MAKE ME PAY A **** FOR THE FIX. THEY WON'T EVEN LET ME SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AT THE COMPANY OR SOMEONE AT THE ************* Ordered propane as a new customer. They performed a tank leak test. The technician cross-threaded the plug when done. Then they came and filled the tank. After that, I smelled propane, which led me to find the cross-threaded plug. After 4 calls to have a propane tank removed, I finally got customer service in *****. The representative was not fluident in English. I finally got a date scheduled for pick up. I asked the customer service representative if there was a cost...the response was "NO CHARGE...NO CHARGE." I have received a bill for $136.88. I feel the NO CHARGE statement was made by an America's representative and is valid and I do not owe it.

I was on a keep full account and they ran me out of gas two ******* in a row. Horrible company and even worse customer service people.

The most unethical company in the UNIVERSE. Mystery fees, missing payments, 30 phone calls to straighten their mess out - or keep getting charged fees. They hope people run out of stamina and just pay, pay, pay.I TRAPPED WITH THIS COMPANY. I WOULD HAVE TO PAY TO REMOVE MY 500 LB. *****, 35 YEAR OLD TANK.

Amerigas deserves a negative score, one star is way too generous. After numerous failed deliveries of propane promptly during the cold winter, and numerous calls trying to resolve the issues, we decided to cancel the service around July 2024, and finally spoke with someone who had cancelled the service in November. Even cancelling services took numerous calls. But the tank was left on my driveway from 11/24 until 5/25, six months later, and Amerigas wants to charge us $428.68 for pickup and service charges. We had Amerigas for 10 plus years. Without realizing it we were overcharged for gas along with other random tank rental fees etc. We always paid prior to delivery. We switched services a year ago when Amerigas prices were 3 times that of another local provider. Prior to switching we verified that we didnt owe money and there would be no charges such as a tank removal fee. Now were getting statements saying we owe $350.00, Ive called numerous times to inquire and Im told we dont owe anything. Now they sent me to collections! ... read more

Awful customer service. Hard to speak with representative in the ***. Their billing department leaves you on hold and do not connect to a supervisor when requested. I have closed my account and do not wish to deal with them again. When they owe you they will make up charges to justify not refunding you. When you owe them; they will draft your account. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS CUSTOMER.

Absolutely disgusting company. We bought a home that had a rented take. We had to take over the contract. We then had the tank removed because we installed our own that was significantly larger. We had called to go over what was involved and any fees associated with the removal. They never mentioned a fee to remove the tank. I surprisingly received a bill for a few hundred dollars to remove the tank.
