The worst. Avoid at all costs. I cancelled my service with them because their responsiveness was so bad and have been trying since 2022 to get them to remove their tank from my yard. For the love of all things holy, PLEASE use anyone else. These folks simply do not care.
This is undoubtedly the WORST company I have ever dealt with!! No customer service and they do not help you at all! I had a bill for $ 12,000.00! I live in a 1300 sq ft house just me and my husband. In the mean time I had received my normal bill for $86.00 They could not figure it out and I since have received 4 notices that the $12,000.00 is past due with a late charge!!! I can’t get any help! I’ve called 4 times and each time they say they will investigate and I still get the past letter! Run from this company (if you can)
Amerigas is the absolute WORST company EVER!I would absolutely NEVER,EVER recommend.
When we moved into our new house it had Amerigas Propane tank. We used their service the first year. Before the next winter season we shopped around and went with a different company. We called Amerigas to come pick up their tank and they never did. It took them 4 years of us telling them we got rid of it before they finally came and got it. I don’t even know where to begin, Horrible customer service, inability to deliver product WHEN the say. I have been out of propane since June 28th, 2023 I haven’t been able to cook since. I have been informed by the Amerigas customer service that they do not give a specific date on when your delivery may come. Even though on both their website and automated phone systems said my propane would be delivered by July 5th and it’s now the 7th. Who is allowing this company to stay open?! Whoever runs this or owns this company should be embarrassed- never seen such low reviews and so many of them. The customer service is literally the most uninformed robotic department I’ve ever spoken to. They have NO idea what is going on, are so unenthusiastic it’s comical. Canceled contract March 30, 2023, after asking to purchase tank and was told no, we could not. Other companies charge at least $1 less per gallon and no additional fees. To date, July 6, 2023, the full tank is still on our property, not connected for use. Called multiple times, appointments set for pickup, no show or call. Was billed $844, paid then disputed with credit card for the problems we're having. Bottom line Amerigas will owe me, they need to pickup the tank, issue my refund and call it a day. My wife and I had AmeriGas for several years It had a gas leak in the propane tank the end of June we contacted them they came out they locked it off. They said there would be about no later than June 5th to take the tank get it repaired and return it. No one ever showed so I went with a different company and the price was much less. In the meantime this propane tank that we're supposed to get a credit on the amount of tank amount of gas in the tank and also a credit on what seeped out is still sitting in my front yard. The absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I probably made 15 phone calls to try and straighten out my relative's account when they passed away. Many emails as well. The billing is always incorrect, takes months to get the refund that they overcharged. They say one thing on the phone and then the bill comes with errors EVERY time. On top of that, they charged my relative $150 for "contract cancellation" - she passed away!!!!! And she was a customer for over 30 years. I will never ever use them.
