AmeriGas billed me twice to install a propane tank. I spent months trying to get the charge corrected and even though several AmeriGas employees said they could see the problem, none of them could resolve it. They repeatedly charged me ‘late fees’, even though I had already paid all the correct charges. To stop the harassment, I just paid them off and now buy propane from another company. This place is the absolute WORST!! I bought my home in 2018 and inherited the propane tank from the previous owners. When I sold the home in 2021 with a 0 balance with Amerigas, the tank stayed for the new owners. However, I've been getting harassed weekly by bill collectors for the last 2 years and have had my account (which I don't even have with them anymore) sent to collections for a "tank removal" I never had done and don't even own anymore. If someone doesn't shut this company down it is a shame. They are taking advantage of every day working people.....please do not get any services from this company. I gave them a one star but it should be a minus.

Agree horrible service!!!!! Stay away from. Customer service says a refund check will arrive in 7-10 days. All that came was a late bill online no refund check and a late fee

If I could give negative stars I would. Absolute horrible business. Makes no sense when an account holder passes away, they still have to pay an early termination fee for breaking the contract! Like what?!? ?? ?? who's gonna pay it? After 6 calls and talking to the yahoo's they call customer service reps, I think?? They possibly said I can send in a death certificate and it has to be approved? Not sure due to they are hard to understand..well okay that sounds valid, BUT WHY DIDN'T YOU SAY THAT THE 1ST TIME I CALLED! Instead ... read more

This company is incompetent and disgusting. We were a customer for years and things were fine until they closed the local branches and shipped their customer service overseas (or wherever it went). After being informed they don't service the size tank we needed to switch to anymore, my choice was to keep paying ridiculous rental fees on a larger tank that we would only need filled once every four or five years, or cancel the service and pay a $162 pickup fee... I cannot give them even one star. We continue to be billed for a propane delivery for a pool heater that we did not receive. We have sent pictures of the gauge, showing us not receiving the propane. Horrible company to deal with; currently changing providers to a local company. Please do not use this company!

Absolutely the worst gas company I've ever worked with or had service from, having lived in multiple states across the US. Customer service is atrocious and they will put you on hold then disconnect you. I've had to call 4-5 times in order to set up a pre-buy and then one month later they send me a bill stating I've used over 300 gallons in one month even though I only used 286 over the last year! Avoid this company at all costs!!

Worst company I have ever worked with; service is terrible, they have no follow through, and pricing it high. They love their automated system that provides no value to the customer. If I could give them a negative star I would. Do not do business with them, you will regret it.
