Took our nearly $500 payment for propane, gave us a delivery window and did not come during that time. We do not live at the home for which we need the propane, so it is necessary to have accurate communication about the delivery date so we can coordinate someone to be there. We can only speak to CSRs in ***** and they cannot help us with this problem or connect us with anyone who can. They removed the price per gallon on their bills. I had to call to request the price and found out the price per gallon was over double what my neighbors are being charged. I had sticker shock when I opened the bill and couldn't see how much they charged me per gallon. I have now ended my service with them and going through the nightmare of now being charged $299.00 to have the tank picked up that I don't own, just leased. Don't go with this company they are the worst.
Purposely withholds deliveries to keep delivery amount under minimum so they can charge me to rent my tank (which I own.) Ran out of propane because they cancelled my auto delivery due to a "system glitch". Has anyone filed a class action against this corrupt company? I'd like to be in on it.
I rented a propane tank from Amerigas for a few years and then purchased it. But for the past 10+ years, they keep billing me for the tank. Every year I work extremely hard to remind them that I purchased it. They then correct the balance due but then turn around and bill me again the next year. It is nearly impossible to talk to a billing agent. Avoid this company at all costs!
0 stars if I could..... An Amerigas propane delivery truck used my driveway that was newly asphalted as a turn around. That delivery driver ignored the yellow caution tape and drove over it, pulling up the asphalt. I have no recourse since "I am not an existing customer" - beyond upset. They wouldn't even look to see who the delivery driver would have been on the street. I stopped using their service quite a while ago, and this reconfirms the correct decision due their lack of service or care.
Amerigas...cannot speak to anyone. tried for two years to cancel my account and get tanks removed. India and Philippines seems they ordered gas for me and delivered without my consent. Told the driver I had been trying to cancel my account since 2022 and that I did not order gas.Driver too the initiative and had my tanks removed. My name is ***********************, I closed my account, in March of 2023. Amerigas insists on sending me a bill for rent on the gas tank. The gas tank in question is owned by my former landlord, *********************. Also I have not lived at this property for six months, but as I have stated this account has been closed for over a year. Find another propane supplier! ZERO stars or one is a stretch on this review. Stay clear of Amerigas... A customer for 20+ years and the last few years have been absolutely horrible! They have had a surplus of our money in the account and still jacked up our monthly payment. Shopped around and found other companies were charging close to $2 less per gallon. I had to give at least one star to create this review of AmeriGas. BEWARE: There is no physical location )(no office door to knock on) for this company. There is no phone number except for that reaching into another country. From there they make conversation as if they are going to have success in getting payment to me for the $360.20 double payment, from me to AmeriGas.
