When Amerigas' price for propane exceeded other businesses in the area our volunteer fire department decided to give our business to another company. We cancelled future orders of Amerigas propane on Nov 3, 2022 and asked them to pick up their tank on Jan 3, 2023. We made the same request on Feb 7, April 4 and May 19 of 2023. Each time we were told that we would receive a call in 3 to 5 business days and that the tank would be removed. If I could give a zero I would.I called to cancel my service since I sold my house the response I had from somebody I could barely understand their English was do you want to dig it out? Billing system cannot be trusted and customer service is terrible on helping resolve issues. We have written President of company to see if they can earn back our trust after being with them for over 20 years

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. The delivery driver broke the gate protecting our tanks. We reported the damage immediately, emailed the company photos of the damage, and were told to not fix the damage as the company would fix the damage. We have waited 4 months and zero response. No accountability for the damage. Calls are all transferred to outsourced, oversees call centers. If you want to have terrible and frustrating service, hire Amerigas. I'd give this ZERO but not an option. We cancelled our account in 2021 and had an email that they would pick up the tank we were "renting". They never came until Feb of 2024! Now they are billing me for tank rental for 2 years. REALLY !!! I should be charging them rental on my property to store their tank. I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by Amerigas. AMERIGAS INCOMPETENT/UNPROFESSIONAL DAMAGED MY PROPERTY WILL NOT ADRESS THE DAMAGES DROVE THE DELIVERY ?? By far the worst customer service!!!DO NOT USE THIS **********************!!!!!Our tank has been shut off for 9 months and is plumb full. Somehow they keep putting in $380 worth of propane which is absolutely impossible. Try calling and all you get is someone from *****! Impossible to get someone from ******* to talk to.

Amerigas? Cannot speak to anyone in *******! Would not give a price for moving a tank. Was told twice someone would call with a price. No calls ever. Canceled service once due to this and rescheduled another service for relocating the tank. Was told again someone would call with a price. Once again, no call! Technician shows up, ask him he estimates $500. Get the invoice its $1,629.00. Only willing to give $300 off after speaking to the two Philippines people for an hour.
