Wow. I am not on the billing for a property I own, the renter is on the billing. I got sent to collections. I called and got the most useless person on the phone who could only repeat what was on the screen in front of me. Obviously from *****. What a terrible company. What a waste. As other reviews have stated.....This company is Horrible. The reps say one thing and that is not what happens. Called twice, two days in a row to tell them to tell the driver to call me because I have 7 dogs , fenced property and a locked gate. Both times I was assured I would get a call the day before and guess what? NOPE. The driver showed up and called me from his phone in the driveway. Terrible customer service and couldnt even recommend a company to repair my water heater. All they want to do is deliver gas and charge you, nothing else! There answering service is not even in the **. I changed companies and they charged me $299.98 to pick up my tank and APP&S Service Dispatch Fee (whatever that is). They bought out the good company I was with and I did not select them. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone. I have them a 1 because 0 wasnt an option.
Worse company I have ever had to deal with! AmeriGas deserves ZERO stars!! I requested their tank be picked up in January and it took through April and several phones calls later only to find out it had be rescheduled after rescheduled before finally being picked up. The tank was full of propane when picked up. After charging me a $200 p/u fee (for a tank I rented from there for years) a $157.94 early termination fee (that I still cannot get an answer as to why an early term fee when I've rented for 8+ years) a $100 service ... read more
It is impossible to contact them. I could go on, but just toi say I will pay the $300 to have them pick up my tank and be done with them
AmeriGas is charging over 50% more than the market rate for propane ($3.609/gallon versus $2.539/gallon). I was finally able to contact a person in the ************* who offered me $2.86/gallon which I accepted and 350 gallons was supposed to be delivered on April 29th. April 29th is now in the past. When I called (foreign call center), I was told that a block was placed on the delivery. I called again and AmeriGas said they could reschedule, but at the $3.609/gallon rate. I cancelled Amerigas Service in January of 2024 after only a couple of months due to their non responsive refill requests. They have yet to pick up the tank ( 5 months) and even though they called me last week to pick up the tank today, they didnt show up and claimed the appt was for this Friday. Forget it Amerigas. After reading all these reviews I see there maybe a service fee to pick up the tank so may not follow through with pick up as we own the tank. We are hooking to Dominion natural gas.
This company is terrible. **************** should be a -5. You can't even understand the person you are talking to when you call customer service. My nightmare started when I asked them to come pick up my tank in December of 2023. My husband had passed away and I no longer needed to have the tank. Terrible customer service. When calling to request a delivery or billing quest the call center representatives do not speak English very well. Cant understand what they are saying. The website is not at all user friendly & they charge a fee of $25 to pay online! They dont post payments when you make a payment for almost 2 months then they charge $36 late fee. They charge $3 for each printed bill! They charge $9 fuel recovery fee every month!
