Absolutely terrible service and grossly overinflated prices. I was charged for a delivery that never occurred. I talked to three different customer service representatives; all three told me the delivery was made on 9/27. I tried to no avail to explain that I was there on 9/28; the tanks were at exactly the same level as before the alleged delivery. One star is WAY too good for this company. If you call them, youll be on hold for a minimum of 20 minutes. They overcharge for propane and get away with it! I found this out after calling other companies. When you terminate service, they charge YOU $300 just to pick up THEIR tank! Thats not standard operating procedure. Dont go with this company! Do your research and find a local supplier. I found one who charges 1.59/gal compared to 3.55/gal from Amerigas. They rip people off in more ways than one.

Do not use AmeriGas out of *************************. A tech named ***** was rude and threatening. He got in my face threatened to pull the tank out of my yard when I own that tank not AmeriGas. Then they had the audacity to Bill me to be threatened. Do not use AmeriGas in *************************

Recently Amerigas filled up my propane tank only to find out that I was charged $1.35 gallon more than my sister who had hers filled up 30 miles away just 2 days before mine. After spending 2 hours on the phone with Amerigas speaking to their horrible customer service, I could not get a straight answer. Of the 2 hours on the phone, about 1 hour and 40 minutes of it I was on hold. Disgusting lack of professionalism displayed by the most recent, and last, delivery driver to our home recorded by security cameras while we were away.Severe language barrier in dealing with 70% of phone calls I made during my complaint process. Brush up on your Spanish if you plan to talk to someone on the phone.Amerigas charges for EVERYTHNG they do from tank installation and rental to removal. TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! Cannot get anyone to answer the phone UNLESS you are a new customer. I was a customer for 20 years and I am finally done! I wish I had cancelled years ago. Was quoted $4.26/gallon and now getting $1.56 from other company. Now i just want my crappy, peeling old tank picked up!

Amerigas takes advantage of their customers charging much higher ******************** costs than the area. Unfortunately if you lease the tanks you have no recourse to shop around. Plus they issue draconian terms and conditions detailing fines and fees that you have no ability with which to opt out.

Me and my wife contacted them told them we were switching they wont let us see are acct i asked how much was in there they said over ******* dollars said as soon as they picked up there tank they would refund are money we got a check for ****** .I want to know were the rest of my money is im not paying for you to pick up your tank and you need to quit ripping off hard working americans like us i want the reast of my money you thieves

Amerigas should not be allowed to use Amer in their name. They are so UN AMERICA- a rip off company. Overpriced and horrible customer relations. They lie on the phone (when they answer that is).They buy up local propane dealers and then squeeze their customers for high prices.IF YOU ARE A CUSTOMER, STOP BEING ONE- its worth switching to a local supplier.
