Absolutely unacceptable experience at Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic. I was clearly told my pet's appointment was at 3:30 PM, and I arrived on time--only to be told they had me down for 3:00 PM and could no longer see me. Instead of owning up to the confusion or making any effort to accommodate us, the staff doubled down and basically shrugged it off. No apology, no accountability, just a "too bad" attitude. This clinic is disorganized, unprofessional, and clearly doesn't value their clients' time or their pets' needs. What kind ... read more

I would not recommend this place because in my experience is they are all about the money and not about helping pets. I brought my dog in for allergies and pain issues. He's an older dog, I followed there recommendations and spent hundreds of dollars on the vet visit, and prescriptions. I saw a slight improvement in him for a few days but the medication didn't work, they said a follow up exam would be necessary, so I brought him in again, paid the vet fees and the same doctor let's try something different. I was confused wha... read more

Business response:

Hi Indika, As previously mentioned, caring for sick pets can sometimes be complex—especially when symptoms don’t clearly point to a specific diagnosis. In these situations, additional diagnostics or trial treatments may be necessary to better understand the issue and guide us toward the most effective care plan. Our priority is always to relieve suffering and help pets recover as safely and quickly as possible. We completely understand how frustrating and concerning it can be when a beloved pet isn't improving as hoped. We... read more

I've been bringing my dog, Nadia, to Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic for years, and while most of the staff has been great, I've had multiple negative experiences with one particular vet technician. During previous visits, this technician said I should give Nadia more sedation medication than what the doctor directed me too during our visit with them , despite the fact that other technicians have not complained to me about an issue trimming her nails but her. I followed the vet's exact instructions, but this technician claimed it ... read more

Hello - I don't really write reviews, but I am seething as this clinic accidentally gave the wrong injections to my animals that could have cause significant harm. I was told "no charge" for the visit. No call from the manager with an apology for weeks. However, today the "manager", Armando, did call me today not to apologize, but stated that we owed money for the previous visit and could not honor what his staff said because they did not have the authority. Also, had the audacity, to accuse me of lying about what I hear... read more

We brought our bunny in for an abscess checkup a while ago to their "exotics specialist" they took her into the back for about 2 minutes, brought her back and said nothing was wrong. I asked about the lump on her face, as it kept growing and was very obviously causing her discomfort, the "specialist" shut me down again saying everything was symmetrical and said she was fine. I had a bad feeling from this and took her to another pet hospital the same day.... She had a TERRIBLE abscess and they had to schedule her for emergenc... read more

For the past couple of years we have been going to Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic and have been pleased with the staff. However, in the past year we have been disappointed with the examinations we have had. My dog had been previously diagnosed with incontinence, which I was told would affect her for the rest of her life, and initially we were prescribed an estrogen supplement to help her with her symptoms. However, because of my forgetfulness, a month went by, (which I admit fault to) the prescription was retracted and I was tol... read more

I would give negative stars if I could. I called for an appointment because my chinchilla was in a critical state. I was told that that would not see her because they didn't like the Yelp review that I left them four years ago. So much for a doctor's Hippocratic oath I guess. Do not bring any of your pets here - it is clear that they are very vindictive. Instead of taking the opportunity to improve and earn a better review, they simply refused to treat a defenseless injured animal because they don't like their owner. They sh... read more

This review is for Dr. Falco and her alleged knowledge of bearded dragons. We took our bearded dragon to her when he (according to her, she) was less than a year old. She said with assured confidence that he was a girl. Okay, misgendering a beardie at less than 1 year old isn't that huge a deal. She mentioned some other questionable bearded dragon "facts" that weren't accurate, then had to check on her computer when bearded dragons reach sexual maturity. Whatever. We found a different vet who was more knowledgeable but is ... read more

Out for money, they couldn't care less about your pet. They do have good hours- but again, more money for them- they'll take yours all hours of the day & night.
