Zero stars - the owner does not care about animals. Her groomer HANAH, at doggie styles next door accidentally cut the tip of my dogs ear off and she was "too busy" to acknowledge this. She sent me a follow up email never apologizing but complaining about my behavior in the waiting room demanding her time and wanting a vet to see my pet without an appointment the next morning! She never prescribed antibiotics and when I visited another vet about this my dogs blood work showed advanced infection and trauma. My 3 lb Yorkie ... read more

Not sure what happened to my original post. But I was very unhappy with the front office receptionist (Tammy, I think), she was so overboard and acted very loosely. The doctor was also clueless... Did not help my dog, my dog is now worseI And I thought Yorba Regional was bad....wrong! There is just no good emergencies vets....it's a shame. Where are we suppose to go....all the way to LA? My dog could be dead by then!

I have NEVER in my life been mistreated at any vet more than this place before. My mother and I took our sick cat who was dieing from breast cancer to DR. KIARA FALCO. We mentioned to the front desk that we do NOT want her euthanized. That we wanted her to die peacefully at home with her family, because of our religious beliefs and not in a strange place around a bunch of strangers. We told them we just want her on IVs, to get pain meds, and something to help her out. The front desk told us that the doctor cannot euthanize O... read more

Business response:

Chelsea, We want to start off by apologizing for the situation you are currently in. It is never easy to see our pets suffering. We understand not wanting to euthanize due to religious beliefs but we have to be the neutral third party and advocate for the pet. You are correct in your statement that when you brought your pet into us she was dying. Based off her condition, euthanasia was the best option for her. We did offer the option to hospitalize, but you declined this. Either way this would have been a temporary treatmen... read more

A few months ago, our dog needed to be seen for urgent care so we decided to come to this clinic as it was close to home. We were initially reluctant after reading a review posted in March about how someone was marked as "no service" after a minor disagreement and their injured puppy was turned away at the door, but we were desperate. Because of all the other good reviews, we decided to take our dog here and luckily, Dr. Nguyen who helped us was absolutely amazing. He guided us step by step through the treatment process and ... read more

Business response:

Shelby, First we want to express our deepest condolences for the lost of your beloved pet. We never want anyone's experience saying goodbye to be traumatic. After looking further into your chart, we agree that you never should have been marked as "no services" or turned away from being provided a service. There are times where veterinary clinics may make the decision to discontinue services with a client but these situations are usually extreme. We have a strict policy when it comes to treatment of our staff and when a cli... read more

I tried to make an appointment for a recheck for my tortoise and Dr. Falco refused to see me. There was no information on why but I'm very confused. I had previously taken my three dogs there to see Dr Bogan who is amazing. Dr Bogan used to see my tortoise as well. Apparently, Dr Falco is the reptile specialist now. Dr Bogan no longer sees reptiles. Dr Falco is very poor at communication and I am unsure as to why she has refused to continue my tortoise's care. Very unprofessional!!!

I would give this negative stars if possible. Bait and switch on pricing. Came to get blood work on my cat. Was initially quoted $60 over the phone. When I came in, the vet took a look and my cat and proceeded to quote me a higher price. Forgot the exact number, but it was over $100. They took my cat to draw his blood. One hour later, came back and told me they can't run his blood work in-house because they don't have the equipment for it because they ran out and manager didn't order new ones. Proceeded to quote me $133 to s... read more

Business response:

Mr. Roy, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that at the time of your visit we had ran out of the specific bloodwork you were requesting. Unfortunately, we are a busy clinic and we can go through our blood equipment very quickly and sometimes unexpectedly, as we never know what each patient will need done. At the time of discovering that we were out of the necessary equipment we did give you the option to either wait until we received the necessary equipment, which would take a few days or we could send the bloodwork ... read more

wow this place was so frustrating. I called this place because a rescue i know uses them so i thought they would be decent since our regular vet was closed so i tried this place. I called, they were very nice over the phone and explained i would need to place a $59 deposit that goes towards the appointment. I said sure not a problem and made an appt for next day. The next day we had a hard time getting our dog into the car because she was no longer able to move and in immense pain. We came 16 minutes late and as soon as my h... read more

This place was like going to a time share sales event. Seriously. They tried to sell me on EVERYTHING. When I called to make an appointment for my new puppy they had me put down a $59 deposit. I was told this not only is for the actual vet to check him but also would go towards his shots and micro chipping and none of the shots were more than $25.. Once I got in there the vet tech took us back checked my pup, said he was healthy then tried to sell me a "package deal" of all the shots plus a microchip they would provide. I fe... read more

Business response:

Ms. Kady, Thank you for your review. We would like to address a few of your concerns. To start the $59 deposit covers the cost of the Doctor visit only. We apologize if there was any confusion as to what the cost covered. The reason we take deposits for New Clients is because we often see New Clients "No show" for their appointment. The deposit guarantees that only clients who actually intend on showing up will schedule the appointment. This insures that we are not taking potential appointment spots away from our regular cl... read more

Very unimpressed with the front office staff. Not competent and probably the least friendly of any office I have been to. I had an issue in the past with this front office. I wrote an honest, negative, review about the incident. My dog needed to be seen and was told by the vet not until the review was removed. I removed it so she could be seen. Here we are again. I wont be going back this time.
