We have three large dogs and have been patients at AH Pet clinic for many years, but our recent negative experience has led me to warn other existing and potential new clients as to what took place with their staff. The exception to this comment is that we have always had good experiences with Dr. Burbach in their practice. In this particular situation I am writing about the negative experience we had dealing with their technician, Stephanie, and office manager, Becky. The incident that compelled me to write this review... read more
If I could give them zero stars I would! I brought my 9 week old puppy into the emergency room because he had been vomiting blood and was met with a rude, condescending, and disrespectful attitude. The woman at the front desk stared at my children and I in absolute disgust and showed absolutely no concern for my puppy and gave off an awful amount of negative energy. She talked down to me in front of my 2 children which made me extremely uncomfortable even leaving my dog with her. She made it seem as though they were so busy ... read more
I took my dog in for an emergency because he was shaking and not eating. I waited for about 2 hours until the check up was done and talked with the doctor she told me all of his tests were fine. The only thing she mentioned was a shot to help his digestion which I declined because she didn't even have a diagnosis. I left and just decided to watch him at home. He wasn't jumping on the bed and i read online that shaking could be a result from an injury. I called back and told the lady on the phone and she says I would have to ... read more
I paid $82 for an urgent care appointment where my pet was given a serious misdiagnosis and a recommendation for euthanasia. I brought my Sulcata tortoise with a prolapsed cloaca to Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic as an urgent care walk-in because they claim to treat exotics. Dr. Kiara Falco, the "exotic specialist", diagnosed his penis as necrotic. She told me it was dead tissue & would rot inside of him & he would die a slow painful death of a sepsis infection and he needed to be euthanized now, before he starts to suffer. Sh... read more
Worst care you can imagine. They continue to misdiagnose animals and when they do get the correct diagnosis from a specialist from somewhere else they could care less and would prefer to euthanize your animal so they don't look incompetent.
On 7/1/21 my wife took our daughter's dog "Lulu" to "Anaheim Hills Pet Clinic" for an ear infection and paid 163.84 for an ear culture and some foamy cream called "Thermafixx" that was put in her ears. (Which our dog shook right out of here ears). I attached a picture of my invoice showing what they did and what it cost. What you won't see on invoice is the stage 4 out of 6 heart murmur the Dr. said Lulu had. That's right the Dr. told my wife and daughter that Lulu had a serious heart problem. Well, this news was devasta... read more
Business response:
Robert, I'm sorry for your family's experience and hope that Lulu's ears are feeling better and that there is no cardiac disease. The ear protocol is pretty standard for what she was experiencing and with a yeast and bacterial infection, that medication is a great option. I understand when we called and checked on Lulu, your wife thought she might have shaken out the medication which can happen on occasion and we offered to replace it and she declined. As far as the murmur, it is difficult to make that information up. I've b... read more
AVOID! AVOID! I refuse to give these people any more of my money. DO NOT GO HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!! The vet said my dog has severe problems... Out of fear for our dogs life, we gladly paid money to get my dog examined. That was a week ago. I called, and they finally let me know an update. They didn't even bother to call me as soon as they had an update. Then the vet says that we should wait some time to see if the problem progresses instead of aiding my dog now to avoid future severe problems. They don't care abou... read more

We appreciate your review Robert. However, based upon the information provided above, we do not have record of you being a client with us. Are you sure that you have the correct clinic? If so, we would love to discuss your concerns, if you could please provide us with more information. Thank you!
I took my dog to this clinic for an Urgent Care visit. I arreived at 7:25 AM (they open at 7:30 AM). I called from outside the building and spoke to a gentleman who took my info and said they would be with me shortly. At 9:15 I called in and it was apparent that they could not locate my chart. A woman came out and apologized and said my chart had been misplaced and that they had moved me to the front of the line now. It was another 45 minutes before I got a call from the Dr. with a treatment plan, to which I gacve the go ahe... read more
The staff is very kind. They treat your dog well. However, I have medications given to me without being consulted and charged in comparison, very high prices as matched with other veterinary offices. They find ways to further extract unnecessary services (multiple days of testing when the dog was not symptomatic). We bought a package including shots and microchip and find there are further fees involved to even use the services already paid for. I have changed to Another local who is kind, comprehensive and doesn't price gou... read more
