Get directionsWouldn't let pet's parents come and visit during pet's last days. Pet was in critical condition. Reasons for visitation denial were Covid or that they didn't allow visitors. Turned out the parents were allowed, but techs or front desk denied the pet and parents access to each other for four days. Heartless and incompetent staff. Is this where you want to take your pet? Would give 0 stars
DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC I won't be able to express my sheer frustration and quite frankly anger that I experienced while trying to deal with this facility. I was dog sitting this week and the puppy I was looking after needed to go to the hospital because she was starting to show signs of Parvo. I initially called and was told they would see her, that it was first come first serve, and the wait would be about 45 minutes to an hour. Which, was fine as it was the closest pet hospital to where I was. I get there and park, ... read more
NOTE: ANIMAL EMERGENCY SPECIALTY CENTER = DISRESPECTFUL, RUDE, CONDESCENDING, UNPROFESSIONAL, & FRAUDULENT CHARGES. Save yourself the heartache and the headache. Go elsewhere. After having experienced a few seizures, our faithful senior companion had undergone an MRI procedure at AESC. He was diagnosed with malignant tumors though out his body. After the MRI procedure was done, the neurologist, Dr. Song, directed us to schedule a follow-up appointment at AESC. In between appointments, the condition of our faithful co... read more
NOTICE FOR MY COLORADO PEEPS** do not EVER take your animals to Parker Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Parker, CO. They perform unnecessary treatments, and are OUTRAGEOUS with their fees. I've also been contacted by their office manager who's attempting to bill me for more money 2 weeks AFTER my dog was seen, and not informed me of the charges before they discharged my dog back into my care that night. I will NEVER take another animal to this clinic. I'll drive the extra few miles to another ER clinic before they'll... read more
Friday night I brought my cat in. After I got the call from the Dr about cost and procedure I had to think about whether or not I could afford it, so I said I would call her back. Ten minutes later I called her back and told her to proceed. Over two hours later I get a call from one of the technicians, who was a heartless, impatient, miserable grump. I believe her name was Haley. She called to tell me the cost (which was higher from what the dr told me) and that they have not done anything to help my cat. I was anxious and c... read more
Terrible customer service! The woman who answered the phone was incredibly rude. This is an animal emergency center, I'm pretty sure most people who call-in are under distress. I asked a simple question and was treated very curtly. A little bit of empathy and kindness goes a long way. However, discourtesy goes even further. Thank goodness there is another ER vet down the way where I can take my sick baby. I get that people have bad days, bad lives but please do not take it out on your already grieving patients. I wil... read more
I can only speak to the Neurology side of this Emergency Hospital as that was why my girl was there. I think there are better places to take your pup regarding Neurological issues, or should I say, ruling out Neurological issues. They seemed like they would be helpful, got us in right away, Dr. Song and Kristen were very friendly, although after upwards of $1400 and no official diagnosis, I don't feel like I would return to this hospital in an emergency. They are helpful until they are stumped and then they are in a rush. A... read more
It was hard to rate this place because of the mixed interactions I had. My dog swallowed a sharp foreign object and had endless diarrhea so I brought her in and they shaved her belly and little arm for an ultrasound, my dog has had this done before. (This process and my interaction with the vet was a good experience) When I brought her home her arm looked a little gross but I just assumed it was irritated from the needle and she's an pretty sensitive dog. Then her arm broke out in a blood red rash, but I still didn't think i... read more
I would not take my animal there for any reason find a different place to go. The staff was unsympathetic and argumentative when asking why my cat needed more blood work her response was "so we dont kill her" she was getting chemo treatments there, I had asked for appointments for her chemo treatments as I did not want to leave her there for hrs I wanted to take her home after and the tech insisted on arguing with me about what I wanted. If that is the kind of support and kindness your looking for with your beloved family m... read more
