We were very disappointed with our recent experience with Dr. Song. We left the appointment feeling like we received no clear answers to our concerns. When we asked questions, Dr. Song presented multiple options but repeatedly stated that "there's no right or wrong answer; it's up to you," in a way that made it seem as though she was disengaged with the outcome. While we understand that the final decision rests with us, we were seeking expert guidance to help us determine the best course of action. Instead, we left feeling m... read more

Not only were we quoted a price of $400 then charged almost $800, but front desk ladies could care less about us waiting in the lobby, acted like they didn't even want to be at work....they just sat together talking about clients that just left (complaining) and weren't doing much of anything except talking about clients and being on their phones!!!! Poor poor Poor customer service and the Drs are not clear on pricing! Always make sure to get some sort of written price agreement as we stated we had a price range when we were... read more

I was referred here for a CT scan with my 4 year old dog Lucy because she had been having frequent nosebleeds and decreased energy levels. During our consultation Dr. Dalby told me that it was probably nothing to worry about because she was otherwise young and healthy but we'd get a CT scan just in case. During the CT scan Dr. Dalby called me and told me "the entire left side of your dog's brain is a tumor" and she needed my permission to biopsy it. After I gave her this permission, she says "by the way, this means months fo... read more

We brought our dog Ren, into this place and put our trust in them. Huge mistake! Long story short: Our dog suffered from pulmonary hypertension. We brought him in because he had trouble breathing. They kept him in oxygen overnight and he was looked at by the cardiologist. X-rays and testing all pointed toward pneumonia. We even have documented proof. After two days in oxygen, they sent him home with us with diarrhea medication instead of the pneumonia antibiotics. We called to ask them about it and they never returned our ... read more

It's long but worth a read, might save your pets life. I encourage people who love their pets to go elsewhere. My dog isn't alive today and I will always wonder if I had taken him somewhere else, if I'd still have him today. A little background. My dog had heart disease that was being managed by the cardiology department at AESC. At times it was difficult to get replies and questions answered but I feel like his condition was being well treated for the year I had him seen here. We noticed some coughing and brought him in... read more

UPDATE: The good: a woman named Melinda was finally helpful in at least getting me a detailed estimate of the suggested procedures after I pushed and complained. The final estimate ranged from $4,024 to $6,020 for the suggested procedures and testing. The bad: I took my dog to another vet/animal hospital (where I should've gone in the first place). They listened to my dogs hearts and lungs and said those sounded fine so it was likely something in her nasal cavity. The did some blood work, prescribed antibiotics and s... read more

We brought our new puppy in with a broken leg. After x-rays and sitting in the room for an hour plus the dr briefly came in, pulled up one xray so we could see the break. Told us that her surgeon looked at the xray on his way out the door and said we needed to get her in for surgery tomorrow. After digesting the news for a minute we decided to get a second opinion. thank goodness we did. The surgeon at VCA in highlands ranch told us surgery would be overkill, splinted her leg for 4 weeks and she is all healed up and back... read more

This review is way overdue. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS DOGS TO THIS PLACE! All they care about is money! CARELESS, RECKLESS, EMPLOYEES AND VET! Even my own Vet recently told me in the future, not to go to AESC, and go to The Rockies Emergency Vet in Castle Rock! My vet told me she had taken her sick dog to AESC. She told them everything they needed to do for her dog. She told me the next morning she picked up her dog, and AES had not done anything she told them to do! Her dog died two hours later! This is review for... read more
