They are completely inhuman and anti-animal. They try to use kind words, but deep down they are cruel. They scheduled a yearly vaccination for my dog, but when I arrived, they tried to steal my money. They told me I had to pay an exam fee too, bringing the total to over $280. I am giving two stars instead of one because I never got to visit the office. I was a returning customer since 2016 after my cats had died in 2017. I booked an appointment over the phone and was never told of the no show fee o f$83.70. I texted the office (they take texts now) because due to work I was running late. I asked if they could still see him, my husband was close, and he could make it 10 minutes late. I never got a reply, only the bill. The original review I sent was removed, so I thought I'd send one more to the point. I took my two dogs in for a dental cleaning, and left with only one dog. During this simple procedure they made a mistake which resulted in her death. They tried to say many things - "she was old" (9 years and in the best health of her life), "she had an underlying health condition" (which from my experience with liver health would have shown up in her blood work, which they had to do twice). Killed my parents dog during a routine procedure. Also another vet at this practice killed one of our dogs years ago. Gave them a pass and chose a different vet at this practice. But now this. Don't recommend using them

I was a long time customer of this spot, and at one time would highly recommend them. Unfortunately that time has passed. Very disappointed with our two recent visits. Lack of empathy, attention to detail, and professionalism on all counts. We've been coming here for years and will be moving our "pack" elsewhere for the safety of our dogs and our own sanity. The clinic was wonderful for years but has changed which is why I'm writing a review after having referred so many people here in the past. *Editing to add they have never reached out offline as stated in their reply * that's simply a false and hollow statement

The prescriptions I have been ordering through Newport hills vet the past 5 years are now all of a sudden being denied. Vet still refuses to share with me the prescription for my cat they wrote that should be a life time prescription for my pet. DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE. ‼Before the incident I had always brought my animals here for basic things like nail trims or shots. So when my dog was pregnant and needed a C-section, I chose to bring them to the vet that me and my family have been coming to for years. BIG MISTAKE. They ended up giving too much anesthesia to my dog, which ended up killing her. My dog was not ready to come home and they told me to come get her.
