She will take the time to review scans and explain what is happening and work with you to discuss treatment options. Very kind and caring. I felt very confident in her knowledge and experience.

I have a torn retna and needed to be seen on an emergency basis. Dr. Hanneken fit me in the same day. Her staff was very efficient and treated me with care and courtesy as they did extensive imaging of my eye. The staff did a great job of explaining the processes before they began. When Dr. Hanneken did see me, she had already reviewed the imaging and had formulated the various paths for treatment. Excellent doctor. Another retinal specialist had recommended more invasive and expensive treatment. Dr. Hannekin recommended eye drops which have worked. Now a year later, I am still doing well.She has a nice bedside manor, very pleasant. And she looks at you when she talks to you while a scribe deals with the computer.I'm a physician and I highly recommend Dr. Hannekin.
Has monitored my dry macular degeneration for many years, and I highly recommend her.
