Attention to patient history and concerns reinforced a sense of personal care both genuine and best outcome encouraging.
Dr. Hanneken was thorough, gentle, kind, concerned and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions thoroughly and was very reassuring. Her office runs like clockwork. There was no waiting and the amount of time I was told the appointment would take was exactly right.
Dr. Hanneken was kind enough to see me at her office for an emergency visit even though she was very busy.

Great doctor and has terrific staff. Dr H is very skilled and brilliant but explains things well enough so layperson such as me can understand matters.
I came to Dr. Hanneken as a younger person with newly diagnosed eye issues. I was full of fear and worry. But the care for her patients, her thoughtfulness , intelligence and insight were apparent in the first ten minutes of my appointment . She spent as much time as I needed, ordered any additional tests, calmed many of my fears and took the time to realistically assess my situation. I left feeling hopeful and most of all, grateful. Dr, H. And her staff are knowledge and careful. Moreover, they are very pleasant and communicate matters to the patient much more clearly than many of the other doctors who have treated me. I am very grateful that my regular ophthalmologist referred me to her.
