Dr Hennekin is very thorough, I was sent to see her regarding an inclusion on my right retina. She said it had been there quite a while and had healed all on its own. She said I was very lucky. I did not have retina detachment back when it happened.
I had a torn retina that was stll attached to the viscous. After a few laser treatments and check ups she told me that it's healed. I will be coming back for another checkup in six months. Dr. Hanneken and her staff are very nice and listen to your questions and concerns.
I have been seeing Dr. Hanneken for the last two years, I had a bleed behind my eye, I am happy to report it has healed because of the wonderful care given to me. She is amazing, couldn’t be happier!!
Dr. Hanneken reiterated that by my following her recommendations to eat fresh pepermint, lemons, limes and sour oranges, my macular degeneration has held steadily for several years now. I am thrilled.
I have been a patient of Dr. Hanneken’s for over 20 years for retina issues. I’m fortunately now a patient who sees Dr. Hanneken once a year for an annual check-up, but 4 years ago I had a retinal detachment and Dr. Hanneken’s skill and expertise has enabled me to fully recover. I very fortunate to have 20-20 vision with contacts after she conducted a vitrectomy surgery to repair my eye. She is kind, skilled, and caring and answers all questions.
She is a specialist in the treatment and followup of retinal detachment; explains matters at a layman's level, and very personable.
Staff was very friendly. Doctor Hanneken was personable and was able to quickly provide a diagnosis. Overall a great experience.
