When ordering a refrigerator part, I selected the cheapest method of shipping which was $4.95. When I received my bill via e-mail they overcharged me making my shipping costs $8.95 all without my permission or prior knowledge. When I called and talked to someone in the billing department they said they can't ship it via the slow method. So I asked why they even offered it then and he couldn't tell me. In researching this issue, we found that the part the customer ordered and opted to ship via Economy delivery ($4.95) exceeded the weight limit for this delivery method. Our system automatically changed the shipping method to normal Ground delivery ($8.95). Since Economy shipping should not have been listed as an option for the customer's particular part and she was not automatically notified of the change, we apologized and let her know we were refunding both the shipping and the part costs for her inconvenience. Unbelievably atrocious company. I bought a replacement part for a dryer 6 months ago. I bought a 2 year warranty. The part failed last week and I requested a new part. Without ever asking for details of the failure or pictures, the rep told me this wasn't covered under warranty. They sent me the warranty form and cited random sections that did not apply. This company's customer service is atrocious. The rep immediately had an attitude with me and she couldn't seem to understand what part I needed to order. Even after sending her a pdf with a part description of exactly what I needed, she still put an order in for the wrong part. By the time I looked at my confirmation email later that day and contacted the company, the part had already shipped out. I'll have to return it now upon receiving it. This is a complaint because PartStore did not replace the computer cord to the laptop I purchased for my daughter, even after 2 service orders (9/30/18 & 11/21/18) and an incorrect replacement was sent. I have been to the Best Buy store at least 3 times attempting to get the new replacement. Very bad service they don't send the parts like they same and they charge you twice for the same part and for a credit in your card they delay a lot, you have to contact them every single day
"We" ordered AND paid for replacement parts from this company (1st week in March) the initial email receipt stated shipment in 3-5 days. Terrible service. The agent I spoke to was really unhelpful. I specifically requested that they send me the parts they have in stock and then when the out of order stock arrived they can forward that to me too. I ordered retainer rings for my 9100 Norelco shaver. First, I ordered by phone, but did not receive an email confirmation, and so I ordered online. Both orders arrived. However, instead of 3 retainer rings that should have been in in the packages, there was only one. Encompass was previously in contact with this customer after an inadvertent short ship order. At that time, we offered to send the missing rings at no charge, but did not hear back from the customer. When we were able to reach her, we apologized for the error and sent the additional rings at no charge. Our tracking information shows they were delivered on 3/16 and hope this was a satisfactory resolution to an unfortunate mistake.
I needed a set of screws for my laptop (10 year old had removed all the screws from the base!). I called Encompass, explained what had happened. They sold me a 'kits screws' for $20. It took 2 months for the 'kit' to arrive. It was one screw - 1/2 cm long - in packaging that was 20 x 15 cm. The shipping cost $8! Useless.
