TERRRRRRRIBBBLEEE. Please trust this builder. Such a shady scam. Wow. Sent the wrong color and shape warming drawer and won't own it. Steer clear folks. Bad news...

Worst customer service ever! Ordered a replacement bin for my fridge and realized upon opening that I had ordered the wrong size. I sent it back and waited 3 weeks for a refund. I finally sent an email asking about it and was told that I sent back a used part and would not received a refund. That is ridiculous! If the part was used then it was their company that used it because it never made its way to my fridge. I spent $20 on the part and another $20 for shipping to and from and ended up with NOTHING. So frustrating. :(

Encompass takes full responsibility for letting down this customer. We have issued her credit for both the part and all shipping charges. We are also evaluating our procedures and communication policies to see how we can prevent a future reoccurrence. I ordered a replacement glass shelf for my LG refrigerator on August 29th. It was supposed to arrive on September 3rd. When I didn't receive it, I checked the tracking and it was noted that the item was damaged and there was a shipping exception via the FedEx site. Unfortunately, carriers do not notify Encompass of any issues with lost or damaged packages once they leave our warehouse. However, once the customer informed us of the situation on Sept. 10, we issued her a full credit on Sept. 11. When an item is damaged in transit we do not wait on a response from the carrier. Credit is typically issued within 24-48 hours, and then it typically takes 3-5 business days --depending on their financial institution-- for it to show on the customer's statement. I ordered a motherboard from these people for $150.00. It never arrived and they refused to send a replacement. This was my first time ordering from them and I am disgusted from their rudeness. They should send me another part as these are high risk deliveries and the customer is always correct. I got robbed by their foolishness to let this happen. For them it's nothing, for me it's $150.00.

Once a package is confirmed to have been delivered to a customer's correct address, it becomes the responsibility of the customer. I called for a part for my Sony TV, the rep messed up my shipping. Then caused shipping delay, asked for manager. Manager did not come to phone, she gave me attitude and hung up. This was after I made a purchase. I am on the phone asking again to speak to a manager and will file a BBB compliant. Was the rudest person I ever dealt with.

In short, DO NOT CONDUCT BUISINESS WITH ENCOMPASS ** you value your time, money, and sanity. I failed to heed the warnings from these other reviews and am now paying the price. For background, I am a human computer interaction researcher in Canada and the keyboard on my ThinkPad broke on Aug 11. Since I wanted a replacement fast (their site said they would ship Aug 12), I was willing to pay a bit extra as the other options seem to ship from China and it was out of stock on Amazon. I ordered a number of replacement parts for various IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad systems that my clients rely on. A number of items were listed as in-stock. Encompass stated that in order to ship items faster, as I ordered 18 separate parts, they would ship the order in 4 batches, and start immediately with the 1st 2, that were supposedly in stock. Encompass' Customer Support team researched the customer's concerns and determined none of the parts he received were damaged. A damage claim was filed because upon receipt of his order, the shipping box was open and items were missing. The claim has since been paid out by the carrier, and we have also refunded the customer for missing parts. We have verified with the manufacturer that the missing parts are unfortunately no longer available without a replacement, and we have notified the customer.

I ordered a simple bracket & template for my microwave. My card was charged, and I was sent the template only. I got an email stating my card had declined. I checked and it had been charged - I uploaded a copy showing it was charged. The response was - "you were told to contact our office to update your information - if you do not, your order will be canceled".
