I've been bringing my pets here for decades. We brought our German Shephard, Harley, in for spaying and a mass removal (big lump on her neck). I waited till I could have this done by Dr. Johnson. I trust him completely with our girl. The staff, here, get better and better each time we come in. So thorough with every process and couldn't be friendlier. My parents have been taking their elderly boxers here. My parents don't have a lot of money but Archer still treated my parents and their dogs with so much compassion. When it came time to put one of their beloved dogs down, my mom could not say enough about how compassionate the staff was. It made the painful process just a little easier. A week later they even sent my parents a card with their dogs paw print. Archer provides quality compassionate care without any judgement. Highly recommend!
A very nice place to take my dog for care. All of the veterinarians I have had the pleasure of dealing with were very friendly and clearly showed a lot of compassion for my Dachshund. The rest of the staff really went out of their way too for each visit. Prompt follow-up, helpful information regarding the right food for my pet, etc. Highly recommended!
We've been going to Archer Vet for about 4 years and I'm so happy with the care my dogs are receiving. We had previously gone to another Vet in Homer Glen and while we received good care, it was more than double the cost and their hours were nowhere as good. The care and the meds are very reasonable and the staff is always kind and helpful. If there was anything else I could recommend, I would!
Dr. Johnson and the staff at Archer Veterinary Clinic are wonderful. I was referred to the clinic when my dog needed extensive surgery to remove several tumors. The staff was very knowledgeable and emphatic to the situation. If I called with a question or a need for medication, they always replied promptly. Just brought our dog in for her annual check and shots. No long waits, super people. Our dog tends to be a bit hyper, and they are so calming and gentle with her. They take time to discuss preventative care with you (even if it will NOT result in a sale for extra meds), and never talk down to you. Have used Doc Johnson and his staff for many years with three dogs. If there's a better veterinarian than Dr. Johnson I'd like to see him or her. I wish I could find a veterinarian half as good as him, that's closer to my house, but I can't (and I've tried). We have been going to Archer vet for 14 years. They have always been amazing at helping us keep our dogs healthy, and in helping us through tough times when necessary.
Our dogs have been patients of Archer Veterinary since 1995. The staff are always very attentive and dedicated to the health of our dogs. Today our Dog Gunner was attended to by Dr Joe and Angela. A great experience again. They took the time to make sure I understood everything and making sure Gunner had a great experience.
