The company was easy to get in touch with for a quote, (they were the lower of two bids) but a little harder to get requirements set. The fact that it was around the holidays was partly to blame, and they did apologize.They got the job done quickly and left no mess. It looks great Replaced a roof of our townhouse
Larry Bullen came out to provide an estimate for replacement gutters. Larry was on time, professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. We would have hired Arocon based solely on our experience with Larry, if it weren't for the other negative reviews left on Angies List. Came out to provide an estimate for replacement Gutters.
I purchased the $60 Pipe Collar and Roof Inspection deal. When the person from Arocon arrived, he said that the roof was too steep for him to climb up there. My roof is a pretty standard-looking roof, but apparently too steep for someone to climb up there by him/herself. I purchased a Big Deal from Arocon Roofing and Construction LLC.
Everything went well. They were very responsive, did quality work, and charged a rate comparable to other companies. They also returned to fix a gutter issue without hesitation which I appreciated. They installed a new roof on my house.
I chose them because theyplanned on using three-quarter inch plywood and architectural shingles which Iwanted. They alsodid a quality job, and they had a price that was half of another roofer. Additionally, they completed the job in one day and cleaned up after themselves which I appreciated. They installed a new roof over our porch.
This roofing project was a bit out of the ordinary, a geodesic dome. I built my house 35 years ago & I was in need of a new roof. This was the first contractor I ever hired to work on my house, all previous work I did myself, including theoriginal roof. The salesman was very attentive, detail oriented, & took lots of notes. Arocon Roofing did an excellent job at communicating their product and service they were to provide. The representative gave a great demonstration and was able to suggest a shingle that not only matched our current roof, but was also going to give us a tax credit. The representative was not pushy in any way and even included repairing a flashing problem I had in an area that I was not asking them to work. They came out within a few hours. After looking at the roof they didn't even need to tarp it. They were able to use some adhesive to seal a few spots. This saved us a lot of money in materials and in labor. They were finished very quickly and we didn't have any more leaks, even though the rain continued through the weekend. Arocon is always a pleasure to work with. From quote to finished work, they are always punctual, professional, and get the job done right and on time. Our projects all proceeded exactly as planned and on time. Quality of work was superior, and we were extremely happy with the results.
