I joined Angies List to obtain what I thought would be screened contractors. For the most part this was true. I received three replies from AL contractors one from Sears which I did not select for AL contractors and on cold call. I interviewed 4 contractors, Sears estimator was a no show (they called the day before and indicated their estimator was not available and offered a $100 discount, I said no). Unfortunately, the client’s driveway had been cracked due to the weight of the materials and truck of the supply center; a third party company. Arocon put the client in touch with the supply company and they were able to work out a solution. We signed the contract in September 2012. The work didn't start until November 2012. Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong. Materials were not ordered when they should have been. Parts of the shower were messed up and had to be redone. And now it is almost done but it is not worked on unless I call and complain. WE were told it would be done in December and then January. What a joke. Ripped out entire bathroom, and installed new shower, vanity, toilet, floor.

I reached Arocon through Angie's list in February and setup a time on March 8 for an estimate on replacing rotting wood outside of my home. Chet Haifley came out and said I would receive an email with an estimate. After a week or so I called Arocon and they said they would remind him to send me the estimate. It is now March 31 and I never heard anything further. N/a

Prompt with free estimate however short on follow up. I requested an estimate and they came out 12/27/12.They were prompt and courteuous. I was given a verbal estimate and was told I would be emailed a written estimate. Waited 2 weeks no estimate. Emailed company still no response until last Thursday; I think 2/14, however by this time I had selected another company.

11/1/12: Arocon replaced my roof and built a deck in the spring/summer of 2011 w/ a 10-year guarantee. After Hurricane Sandy, I experienced several leaks throughout my house, so I called them to come out to look at the roof and fix. I called several times, I emailed, but received NO RESPONSE at all. I only put that I would use them again because they guaranteed their work and should live up to that and get back to me. From the first to the last day, the installation went smoothly. Deliveries, quality of work, and clean up at the end of each day was well performed. The above paragraph covers the details for the installation. But not mentioned was the full installation had a plan. Work was performed and handed off to the next crew. Don't get the impression that each crew was only concerned about their own installation. All of the crews worked as a team.
