Worst company ever! Once you sign up, you will never hear from them again. They also will auto-renew your payment when you didn't authorize that from the very beginning. There is no paperwork or anything on my account saying that I ever authorized the payment and now they are telling me I might have to "wait up to 30 days" to get $949.80 back? You must be crazy. Stay away, they just want your money and you will never hear from them again!

I have been a customer of American Residential Warranty for about seven years. I have filed some small claims in the past and have been happy. Except this time. I had a pipe leak and I called ARW (Day 1). They assigned a local provider who came to see the issue on Day 3. He said that the pipe needs to be replaced and he has to ask for ARW approval, and he emailed them while he was at our home. Now starts the agonizing part. My wife was LIED TO over the phone of what our coverage will be. ARW stated that they would cover the price of the current unit, if it needed to be replaced, (of course not covering any additional costs of the new unit.) Also we have multiple hvac systems in our home, and we were told each would be covered. Fast forward, and our furnace broke and needs replacing. they called and told us we would need to pay $5000 dollars to replace it, or we could take a buyout of $475. This is the most Customer Unfriendly company. WE filed a claim for a dishwasher in 2019 and the rep came and said that the dishwasher was working fine and did not have any issues and said if the issue of residue and dishes being dirty persists, they would come back. Then COVID happened and we cleaned half the dishes by hand after putting them in the dishwasher. If you're looking for a home warranty for your emergency repairs, stay away from the American Residential home warranty program. I had a Sears home warranty and was looking for another company with a better premium and deductible. American Residential representative was so convincing that I switched my coverage to them. They are big layer don't follow the agreement they sale you something and they don't respect it I did contact for full coverage after one month I did claim for plumbing & electrical they told me I am not covered. Terabol comp. and they don't want to return my money back. I don't recommend any body to go with them.

Do not do business with American Residential Warranty. They deny claims without investigation or explanation. When I call into the company, I speak to agents that are not English speaking (at least first language) and then get the run-around on very basic requests. Response times are dismally slow. Do your research on this company before proceeding.

Lousy service in paying a $95 bill. Switched from 1 place to another. Intend to cancel our account. On the line for over an hour faxed the bill to who I was told to and that was in December 23rd got nothing but a really bad headache and irritation dealing with the company. Run away from them
