Terrible. Our fridge broke and we attempted to use our warranty to have it fixed. It has been TWO MONTHS playing phone tag with at least 3 separate companies that ARW states they work with and our fridge is still dead. We finally gave up and are just getting rid of the whole fridge. We'll never buy home warranty again.

We filed a claim back in March14 2021 and have been getting the runaround We paid out of pocket due to the fact we were told to pay the claim and we would be reimbursed. This has not happened and we have been getting either hung up on or sent to different departments and given the runaround. we are not satisfied with this company even though they claim to have A+ rating with the BBB. We would not recommend this company to our worst enemy......

I wish it could be negative stars. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I'm convinced they are a ****. They hang up on you in the middle of phone calls and it takes an hour to navigate their phone system each time you call. It has taken me months to file one claim and they charged me the service fee over two months ago but never contacted the repair company. This warranty company was supposed to cover my HVAC. When come time to repair it they said it's not covered. I paid on this warranty for over a year and paid for them to send a service tech out to look at it. If it's not covered then why take my money for a service tech? We went a month without hearing from them and when I called them they said it's not covered. I was on hold with them for over 3 hours! Then they hung up on me. I'll never do business with them again.

Called in for a dishwasher repair January 14th. Nearly 4 months later and my dishwasher has still not been repaired. I have called back twice to try to find out how to escalate this issue, after being told that delay is due to a part being out of stock. However no other efforts have been made to resolve this by possibly finding another place to order the part from. I don't even know why I pay monthly for this service. It is essentially useless. This company is a complete joke! I purchased a policy in May of 2020. On April 8th of 2021, I called to submit a claim for my A/C unit. Why I can't submit a claim online is absurd in my opinion, so I called the claims number provided on the website with my policy. First person I spoke with said they couldn't locate my policy?! I said I'm looking right at it and can provide you with the policy number! They said there was nothing the claims department can do, and I had to reach out to customer service. I just had a gas leak under our house (energy company said we were very lucky to catch it because it was flowing out like crazy underneath our house and the readings inside were bad as well), related to the plumbing connected to our stove. I was told it would take a couple of days to get someone out to fix it and I said that's too long, as we wouldn't be able to use the stove or have hot water and because it was such a serious thing, we wanted to choose who did it. Worst company ever! Once you sign up, you will never hear from them again. They also will auto-renew your payment when you didn't authorize that from the very beginning. There is no paperwork or anything on my account saying that I ever authorized the payment and now they are telling me I might have to "wait up to 30 days" to get $949.80 back? You must be crazy. Stay away, they just want your money and you will never hear from them again!

I have been a customer of American Residential Warranty for about seven years. I have filed some small claims in the past and have been happy. Except this time. I had a pipe leak and I called ARW (Day 1). They assigned a local provider who came to see the issue on Day 3. He said that the pipe needs to be replaced and he has to ask for ARW approval, and he emailed them while he was at our home. Now starts the agonizing part.
