They came out to look at it and realized that the problem was actually with the electrical box outside, which they informed us was the power companie's responsibility. They even took off $20 for being an Angie's List member, and I didn't even have to mention anything to them about it, which was great!
Excellent. An electrician from another company (also on Angie's List) came out but could not find the problem. He recommended that I contact a larger company. I contacted Ashpaugh. Their electrician came out on the scheduled day. When I was called thirty minutes prior to his arrival I came home and met him there. He took approximately 45 minutes to locate the problem and solve it. It was a very easy solution, but a difficult problem to isolate.
They did excellent work.
No problems arranging the service call. I called on Tuesday and had someone out on Friday (could have been Thursday if I had wanted). The electricians showed up in the time period specified and got the job done in 30 minutes. Definitely knew what they were doing and relabeled my electrical box to show the changes.
Besides the microwave line, I had them put a light in my pantry and that made a big difference.
A representative came out within the week and gave us a quote. The work was then completed the next week. The workers were very professional and neat. All tasks were completed exactly how we wanted and they cleaned up after themselves.
They were very responsive when I called to order the work. Their representative showed up on time and was very respectful and helpful. My husband commented that they did a great job with the install and followed instructions that we had given them. We even called them after the job was done as we were having difficulty with the newly installed lighting. They were very helpful and called me back promptly to answer my question.
The serviceman was prompt and very personable. The work was completed exactly as requested. The next day we had a problem with the light switch and we notified the company. The following day the same serviceman returned to replace the switch. The day of the first service call I did notice a long scratch on our hard wood floor after the work was completed.
