I had an appointment on Monday 2-1-2016 to get my free exam and to try to get a broken tooth looked at and to see how much it would cost to have a crown put on that tooth. Well the exam went well everyone was very nice, but after the exam I was taken to the consultation room where they told me what needs to be done and how much I would have to pay for these services. JUST DO NOT GO HERE. It is a mess from top to bottom. Billing is ridiculous, they made us bill our own insurance and when we ask for the proper paperwork needed to send to the insurance, the lady just said I don't know if this is what you need... Nonchalantly. They almost drilled into the wrong tooth in my daughters mouth, the dentist looked shocked, looked back and forth at the papers then back at her mouth and said "I almost drilled the wrong tooth! Low quality dental work. Unprofessional employees. They say you don't need insurance but watch out they will get you to sign up for a unethical credit card company with rates over 20 percent. They forgot to bill me so I missed a payment so my bill was sent to a collection company. In over 50 years I've never not paid a bill on time. Their business office is deplorable. I waited 40 minutes to talk to their business manager and when he was off the phone he came out told me he was going to lunch. Too bad. They say they will o... read more

If I could give no stars I would. They are a bunch of incompetent asses there. My mother went in to have her bottom teeth pulled and fitted for dentures. She has been in 3 times because of problems with them. First, they didn't polish the plate, so she had the rough plate rubbing on her gums. Went in and had them polish them. Next they didn't cut out the little piece in front for the piece of skin that connects to her lip. Another trip back in there to get that fixed. My roommate has been going there for at least a year to fix her myriad dental issues. They always make her wait forever. Her dental insurance only covers her through Aspen so she is stuck going there. Yesterday they treated us both horribly. She came in to have 4 teeth pulled and was understandably very nervous. We came in at 8:40am for her 9:00 appointment as they requested. We were told it would be an hour long appointment. We were taken back at about 9:15. My husband and I made appointments with Aspen because they were in our insurance network. It has been a mess ever since! We have both had our appointments canceled multiple times. I waited for over an hour in the chair to see the doctor for my new patient exam. When I asked to have an itemized receipt sent to my house for documentation for my insurance, they had to send it to corporate in NY first! Just to get it across town! Bad experience! very expensive; even wrote a new sonicare toothbrush into the bill without telling us. Would not work with is on our idea of treatment plan. Go somewhere else!

Went in for a free exam because I had lost my insurance and hadn't been to a dentist in awhile. I was shocked when they told me I had 3 cavities, as I had never had any in my life. They said two might remineralize but the third one had no chance to do so. I decided to go to my old dentist and get a second opinion and lo and behold I did not have any cavities, no thin spots or anything! This is malpractice and fraud as far as I can tell.

I have been to Aspen Dental twice in the last six months. Insurance processing and verification is excellent as you should expect. One of the two front desk personnel could use a bit of customer service updating but job was done correctly. The cleaning was A-1 with good patient interaction and feedback. Now for the negative. I DID NOT see a dentist for a checkup. NO dentist even looked in on the cleaning. My insurance indicates that this should have been provided as a part of the cleaning.
