I had a first initial appointment today, I was looking for a teeth cleaning, I had xrays taken and then was told I need scaling and root cleaning to the tune of $770.00 for 5 teeth... In all of my years of having my teeth cleaned that has never been suggested! I said NO they would not do a normal teeth cleaning so 2 1/2 hrs later I walked out of the office without having my teeth cleaned. Scam of the lowest sort. What an absolute nightmare of an experience today. A month ago I scheduled for an oral surgeon to remove one of my back wisdom teeth for today, they told me that the surgeon is only in once a month and that is why there is a long wait. I was scheduled for early Sunday morning the 17th (which fell outside their business hours I noticed, but the girl who scheduled it reassured me that the surgeon would be here and they let people with appointments in. I came here because I was having dental pain. I have several issues with how I was treated. First if all the the hygienists gloves (or something else in the room) smelled distinctly of mildew. Good start. Second Dr Niggam came in and referred to me as babe. As in, instead of by name, my name was Babe. I was so shocked and dumbfounded I didn't respond and he responded patted me on the shoulder...to make himself feel better about his inappropriate comment??? The care here is fine and I have no complaints about the staff or dental hygienists. My concern is that the way the practice is run is so inefficient. I recently had an appointment here just for a regular cleaning. Everything looks good, no cavities, great! But they have to do an x-ray which they hadn't planned for. Fine, let's go do that. No, that has to be a separate visit. Ok then... I still don't understand that but I'll go with the flow and just make the appointment. Went in for my first visit appointment was at 3:45 went in early for paperwork at 3:30 didn't get called back until about 4:15. Everyone was really nice. Front desk was very nice. X-ray lady was very nice and the rest of the girls up until the dentist, Dr Chan (the son). I have a history of just having poor teeth I brush everyday constantly no flossing I admitted but brushing I do every single day twice a day and I explained this to everyone I saw up until the dentist. Lame. Very lame. I had an appointment at 12:30 pm today. I arrived 10 minutes early to fill out paperwork and waited. At 1:20 I waited long enough. I asked the receptionist what happened and her reply was sorry maybe they had a surgery? If you had a surgery then why did you schedule an appointment at the same time? No one wants to accept responsibility these days. As for the decor of the waiting room, hows about early dismal with tones of neglect. Nuff said I'm not coming back.

*7th and Bell Location* Today was my first visit, and unfortunately my last. I walked in and immediately felt uncomfortable. There is no warmth in the office, the receptionist barely said hi. I was also asked for no ID- which is strange in the medical field when receiving any kind of treatment. I had made the appointment online for a "checkup" which the dental offices I had been with, prior to moving here, includes your cleaning. Can't tell you much about the people here because I never ended up being seen. I had a 4:15 appt. I came In 15 min early with my new patient paperwork filled out as requested as to not slow down the process. At 4:50pm, I finally asked the front desk ladies what was going on and got some excuse about the machine and it would be about 10 min more. 5:20pm, I'm asking again what is going on and they are ready to see me but it will be 30-45+ for X-rays, exam and finance meeting. NIGHTMARE!!! DO NOT TRUST!! We took our entire family, two kids, two adults. I was told my two crowns needed to be replaced, my son has 6 cavities, my daughter had 2 cavities and my husband needed a deep cleaning. $$$$$$$ I had a terrible experience when my son went in for his teeth cleaning, mind you I paid in full for all of our plans, first mistake.
