I paid $2300+ for an extended warranty and when my power steering failed. While they paid to have that fixed, they refused to pay for the wheel alignment that was required as part of the rack and pinion replacement. This resulted in the steering wheel tilted noticeably to one side while driving. Their justification was that the car is driving straight and that's all they care about. Will not recommend these douche bags!

I left a review of my experience about this company but after looking over the paper i have found that it was sold wrong by the dealer. That being said I can't hold AUL responsible for someone's bad information pitch. I would recommend though that any and everyone thoroughly read their contracts. Peter.T

This is the worst company ever! I paid $2000 for a warranty service contract with this company and ever claim I try to submit they deny! First they told me I never had a contract even though I had a signed and paid for contract in hand from the dealership. Then after providing proof of payment and the contract they finally assured me the contract is valid. Then when a claim was being submitted they said I did not do one of my oil changes it was 1000 miles over so the now voided my contract for anything involved with my engin... read more

The particular contract you purchased does have maintenance requirements, unfortunately those were not met and per the terms of the contract your engine claim was denied. Horrible customer service. They will do everything in their power to avoid a claim. Even breaching a contract.

I purchased a warranty from this company which turns out to be useless. I am cancelling my warranty with this company due to the fact that the deny every claim that is turned over to them for approval. The truck i purchased this warranty for has only had 2000 miles put on it since the purchase date with there top tier warranty. They will refuse to pay for repairs as they state that it's not covered. You would think that with a 3,600 dollar warranty that they would cover the 750 dollar repair. AUL, Once again you have shown me that you cannot stand behind your word. This is the THIRD time that I been told I would receive a call back from a supervisor and/or manager and have not. In 2014, we purchased a used pick-up truck along with a 4 yr/48000 mile extended warranty (Estate Coverage) and paid a little more than $2800. This is the highest level of coverage they offer. We didn't speak to an AUL representative before purchasing, but I did READ EVERY WORD of the contract before signing just to make sure I understood what would be covered (yes, it did take a while, but it is something I recommend everyone does). I will never make the mistake of buying another 3rd. party warranty such as AUL. They will go out of their way to not cover any issues. And will actually blame the owner of the contract. I had a puddle of transmission fluid in my driveway. They declined to cover. What if all the fluid came out on the road and seized the transmission? Best advise is to not buy this **** warranty and save your own money for your repair.

AUL Insurance provided me with the worst experience and awful customer service imaginable. For me it was like you get cancer and find out your health insurance tells you sorry sucker we got your money and you get the shaft, now leave me alone I've got more suckers to fleece and money to count.
