I continue to call this number about my warranty and pushing option 2, then 2 again and NO ONE answers the phone after days and 2 hours of holding on over different days on each occasion! I have made the worst decision by getting this warranty on my **** it's utterly ridiculous on how I pay for this every month, considering I've never missed a payment yet I can't get anyone to answer. Lets start off by saying my transmission went out and my warranty was still vaild ;Though they didnt want to release the warranty told the dealership they wasnt releasing anythng there for my car sat in the shop for almost 6 months until i was able to pay out of pocket for it (my warranty was still valid they just refused to release it ) causing me to lose everything to my name , fast foward they send me my reimbursement check which was $600 less than what i paid out of pocket (over ***** dollars) , not only was it short som... read more

Purchased service contract January of 2022. Received contract booklet in the mail. Contract did not accurately represent the vehicle as it is equipped with a turbo Diesel engine and the boxes showing turbo and diesel were not checked. I phoned American Automotive Alliance who sold me the contract / policy at least a half a dozen times to get this fixed as I didnt want any misunderstanding in the event that I had to file a claim which would involve the engine or the turbo. This company is a scam. My front cv axel spines had twisted into the front differential resulting in failure of the differential and cv axel. The dealership filed a claim and AUL said that because the cv axel boot ripped it's not covered. Nowhere in the paperwork does it say that ripped cv boots aren't covered. They also said that I purposely damaged those parts myself. I pay an extra $50 a month and this is how I'm treated. I'm getting my truck fixed and then canceling my warranty from these thieves. To whoever is consider ********, DONT! I need you to listen, RUN very FAR away from these crooks. Trust me, they dont honor contracts and take a long time to even process your contract for activation. Everyone has an attitude and the wait times are ridiculous! I shouldnt be on the phone for over an hour still waiting. Dont even sign up with them, just go with someone else. Cancellation takes six to eight weeks if theyre even telling the truth. I would not recommend anyone to this warranty company. Purchased a used truck in March of 2022 and driven it less than ***** miles. It gave me a check engine light so I took it to my local dealer who did the diagnoses. They said it needs a new engine. AUL denied to cover it, basically told me that they have to send and adjuster out. Sounds like a joke. If you cant trust the word of ***** then what's the point in the warranty. Do not buy a extended warranty contract from AUL!! I have patiently waited for a month and the repair shop called on 7/12/22 and said they can not find the part anywhere and that AUL would be calling to have my car towed and my next steps. 2 days no call so I call them. Do NOT purchase an extended warranty with AUL!!!!! We purchased it with our vehicle, which we've now taken to a couple of different auto mechanics to get a variety of opinions, both of which have said needs an engine replacement. AUL has tried to get out of their end of the deal by not replacing it for whatever excuses they can make.
