We always love the food at Badger & Co. We first tried this place because of The Wind in the Willows connection, but now we come back for the food. The meat pies are amazing.
The setting in the restaurant is lovely, with really comfortable and plush seating and interesting decor. We were spoilt for choice with the gin menu and the waitress was well informed to make recommendations. We all went for the roast since it was Sunday lunchtime. The roast set menu also included a pudding and was excellent value at under £16.00. It was our first night in Edinburgh. The space is lighthearted, cozy and comfortable. Not too noisy but great energy. Food was delicious and service was great!
Loved the brunch board. Great value for money. £25 each for lots of food and 4 drinks each! Good choice of drinks. The passion fruit mimosa is the perfect accompaniment. Only down side was a large booking that were quite noisy and stood talking right next to our table.

What a great little gem of a place. The staff are welcoming and friendly and more importantly you really feel like they enjoy their work which only adds to the positive experience. The food was fab and there is something for everyone on the menu and they gave us a great table by the window which was private and cosy. The only thing I would change if I could would be the music...a little too loud and for my feeling not relaxing enough to compliment the surroundings. Fantastic atmosphere and the perfect brunch destination.
We love coming here the staff were great with our elderly parents. Unfortunately this time when we visited it was very noisy because there was s a party of very young children who were obviously very excited. We will still come back .
It's a really nice place to go for lunch. Good food, good value and good service from very friendly and helpful staff. Really like going there for lunch.
