Unexpectedly, I was evicted from my office space in the Gaslamp late December and needed to find new space fast. Luckily, Ballpark Storage was around the corner and I was able to get a clean, affordable storage space pronto while I looked for a new office. Great, well taken care of facility. I am in the Navy, and having packages shipped on base adds about 1-2 weeks time for base processing, so instead, I get my packages sent here where I can pick then up. Great customer service, friendly and professional.
5 stars in my book. We have been using this storage facility for years now. If you live in the area it is so convenient. We even walk here to retrieve our stuff sometimes. Parking is never an issue, we can usually drive right into a stall, however if the stalls are full there is meter parking in front of the building. They have 4/5 heavy duty carts to help with your loading and unloading.,The staff is helpful and friendly. The faculty is kept quite clean.
Just an update from my last review. I was contacted by the manager Adam over the phone who apologized for my inconvenience and offered to comp the next month's rent. This was something I didn't ask for btw so I thought it was a nice and considerate gesture. I like this facility overall. The location can't be beat and my interaction with the staff has generally been pleasant. My only issue really was with having to wait on multiple occasions for the doors to open in the morning. Me and my wife had a great experience with storing our home goods at Ball Park Self Storage, and the manager Adam Martin was very pleasant in helping me and my wife while i was on a ten month deployment. When we arrive back at our storage unit everything was in place just like we left it. So overall I would definitely give this storage place two thumbs up and I would highly recommend it. Thanks Adam
Excellent customer service, knowledgeable and super follow through. They even recommended individuals to help me move Entire move took 2 hours from start to finish from my studio apartments The cost of the small truck, storage room and helper (John Stanley) was quite reasonable. You will find Sam and Anna quite helpful.
We used Ball Park Storage through my work when we had to put our customers in a hotel due a delay in our new apartment building opening. We put their belongings in storage during their hotel stay until our apartments opened. The chain of events Ball Park Storage has caused will go down in my life as one of the worst and most deplorable. I reserve a 10 foot truck 2 weeks in advance for pick up at 10AM on a Saturday. I even did an early check in and received a confirmation email saying that my truck would be ready. Their hours are from 9AM-5PM so I get there at 9:45 to do the paperwork and no one is there.
